Village Medical Westheimer (Dr. Anjali Varde’s clinic) has been extremely unprofessional. I requeste

Village Medical Westheimer (Dr. Anjali Varde’s clinic) has been extremely unprofessional. I requested a referral multiple times and despite repeated follow-ups, it was never sent. There was no accountability, no communication, and no urgency regarding my medical needs. It is unacceptable for a medical office to ignore basic patient care responsibilities. Patients should not have to repeatedly chase staff to complete something as simple and essential as a referral. Very disappointing and frustrating experience.
If you'd like it even sharper or more detailed about the timeline, I can strengthen it further.

Rolling cycles in making a call for a doctor appointment

I have been having a sore throat, cough and high temperature for a few days and trying to schedule an appointment with my primary physician at Village Medical. After going through long list of questions, I was put on hold to connect to the “clinic”, which I thought I was calling the clinic. After about 30 minutes waiting for the call transfer, I was told to wait for the clinic to call me back. The next day after no calling back, I called the village medical again. It’s exactly the same procedure and no answer from the “clinic” when I was putting on hold for call transfer. I know I got strep throat from my kid. But they can’t give me prescription without seeing doctor. And they can’t schedule me for an appointment.

Horrible

Horrible, ZERO Stars, lack of communication, zero timely follow-up, complete lack of confidence in their understanding of proper patient care. If I had a serious condition, I would be dead by now. Do not go here, your health will be put in danger.

Do not use Village Medical as a primary care facility!

Terrible multiple experiences with 2 different Dr./NP's . Both of these offices under the banner of Village Medical (Dr. Catherine Mae Aquino) have been disappointing to say the least. Snarly attitudes among office staff. Main complaint is the "gate keeper" answering service they use to avoid answering phones. They expect you to wait 1-2 days for an answer to , what can sometimes be an easy or time sensitive question. Just warning anyone in the Phoenix AZ area. Avoid a non-caring, non responsive medical practice.

Don't be fooled - hidden billing

Don't be fooled by the "ease" of setting up appointments. Once my appointment was completed I was surprised to see charges for "first time" patient that were never disclosed prior/during my visit. Insurance companies allow this without any form of patient disclosure and this is above the preventive care bill for the doctor. I saw the doctor for 15 minutes and all he checked was my heart (regular stethoscope). I would seek a regular doctors office before ever joining one of these affiliate care companies.

Just receive a bill from VM

Just received a bill from VM - one year after my visit. Called Blue Cross and it seems they have one year to file a claim but I don't get the benefit of meeting my deductible because of the untimeliness of their billing - to me, that is outright fraud, and certainly isn't in any patient's best interest.

Gross Negligence

Pratice shutdown. Less than 15 days to find a new doctor. No plans in place for medical questions or concerns, prescription approvals or refills, referrals, or ability to contact anyone other than outsourced scheduling phone number. Village Medical and affiliates lack of communication left acute patient unaware they have no doctor or a location to go to for a new doctor. Gross Negligence by Village Medical

BEWARE!!

BEWARE!!! Village Medical is a horrible medical facility that makes huge mistakes. They are hideously offensive, irresponsible and dishonest. Village MD is doing business as Village Medical, Summit Health, City MD and Starling Physicians. They are controlled by Village Practice Management Company, LLC in Chicago, Illinois. Executives such as: Jim Murray - Chief Executive Officer, Richard Rabino - Chief Administrative Officer, Ellen Dalton - Chief Growth Officer, Mike Roberts - Chief Technology Officer, Mark Vainisi - Chief Strategy and Development Officer, Jennifer Clair - Chief Analytics and Financial Officer, Svetlana Vinokur - Vice President Finance, Jennifer Michael - Vice President Payor Partnerships and Network Operations, Chris Sclafani - President Summit Health and Zenobia Brown - Vice President Clinical Operations are extremely unreliable.BEWARE!!!

Bill Doubled a couple days later

I was given a bill at checkout which i paid in full. The bill said for all services provided today. A couple days later i got a notice saying i had an unpaid balance. I log on and my bill more than doubled for unknown reasons. I was there 15 minutes to get blood pressure meds. No blood or anything was taken. Just checked blood pressure and wrote me a prescription. It is a huge pain to get anyone on the phone. Billing calls are transfered to a call center and the person helping me barely speaks english. Dont go to Village Medical.
