I'm not even sure how they subscribed me. I only noticed because my credit union blocked the charge and locked my card. I called their customer support and they said they couldn't find any record of me using my email or searching for the last 4 digits of my debit card. She couldn't figure out how to cancel the subscription. So, if they keep trying to charge me, it will lock my card every time.
Scams you into a $30/mo subscription when you go to get your $1 vin report. Doesn’t give you any useful vin info, charges your card more than once. I will never be using this site again.
DO NOT TRY THIS OUT! Would give this company 0 stars if possible. The report is not like Carfax at all, plus for thorough details you had to keep adding a $1 charge. Went to cancel at the end of the week, only to get a charge for the next month, that I am now disputing with my credit card company. They denied the payment (fortunately) but now I have to look at rerouting so many payments based off of this card
I paid a dollar for a report that seemed decent. However, the report claimed the vehicle had no previous owners, no recalls, and 0km on the odometer. In reality, this was a used car with at least 9 previous owners, 185,000km on it, and THREE AIRBAG RECALLS! While I wasn't too upset about the incorrect information given the low cost, I was frustrated to discover that they signed me up for a subscription I never requested. Failing to mention the airbag recall is extremely dangerous and irresponsible. I reached out for a refund under their "no questions asked refund policy," but the response I received only provided details on how to cancel the subscription, without addressing my refund request. I followed up again but received no response. I've since initiated a chargeback with my bank, which has canceled the transaction. Save yourself the hassle and just invest a little more for a reliable report; I wish I had.

This service is not free at all. The website is challenging to navigate, and it keeps asking for more money for items I've already paid for. Reports won’t download, and the chat support just leads to confusion before disconnecting. There’s been no follow-up regarding refunds for reports I couldn’t access. It's a complete sham!
I spent a dollar and received no useful information about the vehicle I was researching. When I called for a refund, the details I received about the fuel type and engine were incorrect, but they refused to assist. The representative I spoke with claimed they obtain everything from the DMV, which was completely false. At least it was only a dollar, right? Just be cautious about the subscription; that one dollar signs you up for a monthly fee of $30. If you fall for this "free VIN check" trap, make sure to call and cancel your subscription.
This is a complete scam! They advertise it as just $1, but then charge you $30 shortly after. They refuse to refund your money, cancel the membership, and deny you access for the month you paid for! If they cancel, you should receive your money back without access. If you cancel and they keep the money, you should still have access for the time you paid for. They just take your money.
