However, I didn't receive a breakdown of my item's value or details about the weight/carat of the gold. In hindsight, I believe I was undersold, but I take responsibility for my trust in the service. I later reached out to the service for a few items back, but they had already been moved on. Lesson learned—do your research first.
The representative who assisted us was straightforward and provided useful advice. The valuations given aligned well with what we had received elsewhere. We accepted a fair price for a group of items, making this our first positive experience at a roadshow.
