Review Time
Let me start off by saying I’ve spent thousands of dollars with Venus over the years and have been very pleased. This is my first time trying to order since the new ownership (American Exchange Group) and when I went into my account, they have since deleted all of my previous orders (probably so I can’t compare prices) and I also noticed the swimwear prices are extremely higher than before.I could easily get some bikini bottoms for less than $30, now it’s over $50! I’ve never seen so many “SOLD OUT” items on Venus website before (that’s not a good sign). The return policy has also changed not to mention the demographic of their models on the website and brochures have changed to a more lighter shade🤨 But like everything else, all good things must come to an end. Venus was one of my favorite online shopping sites but not anymore.
I tried to exchange a pair of jeans for a different size, but was told that the company is currently in a "transitional" phase and is not processing exchanges or returns. Yet, their website now indicates that they are accepting returns and exchanges.

It's disappointing, and I no longer shop there because the new designs cater to a niche rather than the broader audience. Many friends I've introduced to the company feel the same way. They've strayed from what made them popular, and I genuinely hope they can turn things around, but I won't be making any purchases.
I was a loyal customer for over 15 years, loving that aging didn't mean looking old. The clothing was stylish without being inappropriate. I used to order frequently, but recently, the appeal has faded significantly. Now, I might buy one item instead of ten. I haven't made a purchase in over six years because nothing catches my eye. Frankly, their current offerings are quite unattractive.
I used to order from the company frequently for their great cost-to-quality ratio. The tops I bought years ago were made of high-quality materials that looked far more expensive. They’ve lasted beautifully, but lately, the quality has dropped while prices have risen. My recent orders were disappointing; the fabrics felt cheap, and I returned everything. It's frustrating because I remember how great their clothing used to be. I hope they focus on better materials and craftsmanship, even if it means charging a bit more.
I often receive partial orders but have a limited time to return them. Additionally, if I return and don’t select a wallet option, I have to cover that fee. I've ordered swimsuits multiple times, and one item arrives while the other takes ages. It's frustrating that they can't send everything together, especially given the limited return window.
