Review Time
The Viral Coach experience has been amazing! Top notch instructors and creative content writers! Would totally recommend it for anyone looking to blow up their business!
Viral Coaching provides clear, straightforward guidance on using short-form content with purpose. They focus on building simple systems that help businesses grow, not just on getting views. As a plumbing home service business owner, I’ve found the advice practical, easy to understand, and clearly based on real-world experience.
Viral Coach gives tremendous value to coaches and entrepreneurs for FREE. I am a men's self development coach based in LA and I love to content and support Viral Coach has given as I grow my company's social media and ad presence. Highly recommend this platform.
We signed a 6-month agreement with Viral Coach after a sales process that positioned the service as a completely “done-for-you” content engine.
This review is to clearly outline what was promised vs what was delivered, so other business owners can make an informed decision.
⸻
What We Were Told on the Sales Call
1. All scripts would be fully written for us.
2. Editing and posting would be included.
3. Content would be edited to the same standard as their example client “Jared the Plumber.”
4. We would receive 30–60 posts per month.
5. Billing would begin when filming began (not when payment was made).
6. Marketing materials heavily implied a “1 million views in 30 days” guarantee.
This positioning gave the clear impression that this was a premium, hands-off, CMO-style service.
⸻
What Actually Happened
1️⃣ Scripts Were Not Fully Written
Only the hooks were scripted. The remainder required us to speak from our own knowledge with no structured outline or full scripting.
This is very different from “fully done-for-you.”
⸻
2️⃣ Editing Was Basic Caption Generation
When content was delivered, the editing consisted primarily of auto-generated captions.
No B-roll.
No dynamic editing.
No production quality comparable to the example we were shown.
We specifically requested editing similar to the “Jared” example used in the sales process. This was refused.
⸻
3️⃣ Posting Was Not Included
Despite being told editing and posting were included, we were later informed that posting was not included.
We were told we would need to hire one of their editors for an additional ~$1,000 per month.
This was never clearly communicated during the sales process.
⸻
4️⃣ Volume Was Lower Than Communicated
We were told 30–60 posts per month.
In practice, it was 30.
Volume matters significantly in short-form content, and this discrepancy was material.
⸻
5️⃣ Billing Start Date Issue
Before paying, we explicitly asked if the start date could be pushed back since we could not film for two weeks.
The salesperson said yes.
This adjustment was never made.
We were billed again before filming aligned with the originally discussed timing.
⸻
6️⃣ “Free Full-Service Editor / Social Media Manager”
The contract references:
“Optional: Free Full-Service Editorial Staffing / Social Media Manager.”
This was not provided.
When raised, this was not clarified in a satisfactory way.
⸻
7️⃣ The 1 Million Views Guarantee
Marketing strongly implies 1 million views in 30 days.
Upon reviewing the contract, it states 1 million views across 6 months.
This distinction is significant and was not clearly emphasized during the sales process.
⸻
Attempt to Resolve
We attempted to resolve the situation privately.
We:
• Raised concerns early
• Requested clarity
• Requested adjustments
• Ultimately requested cancellation
The response was that cancellation is not possible unless there is a material breach, and that early termination would involve a fee.
We are now pursuing formal dispute channels.
⸻
Final Thoughts
This service may work for some businesses.
However, based on our experience:
• Expectations set in sales did not align with delivery
• Editing quality did not match showcased examples
• Billing terms did not align with verbal confirmation
• “Done-for-you” positioning was overstated
If you are considering signing:
Read the contract carefully.
Clarify what “scripted” truly means.
Clarify whether posting is included.
Clarify editing quality.
Clarify billing start date in writing.
Clarify how guarantees are calculated.
Make sure everything is explicitly documented before paying.
We will update this review if the matter is resolved professionally.
What made my experience great? Knowing that I can get an honest answer, that helps my business. What is this company doing well? Providing resources and training that will last for a lifetime.
I am new to the program and excited to see where it takes me. So far the videos are informative and helpful. The community me members are helpful and friendly. I will update my review once I get a month or two under my belt
I enrolled in the platform and explored their free course before committing to the paid program. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of valuable content they offer at no cost. They provide the fundamental aspects of the entire system for free, charging only for the implementation. While it may not suit everyone, it's definitely worth considering if you believe it could align with your needs.
I'm really impressed with the Viral Coach program. The Skool community is filled with entrepreneurs who have a deep understanding of business, and I appreciate the opportunity to connect with many of them. The training modules are free and straightforward, making it easy to follow. This will definitely enhance my life insurance sales business. I highly recommend joining this program.
I am currently in the 90th day of a 180-day engagement, where the average client is expected to achieve 15 million views. However, it seems that the reviews here mainly focus on the free course rather than the paid service. My observations are based solely on the paid service. I have documented everything provided so far. The total engagement cost is $38k, and I have already paid $22k, charged weekly. The results so far include +267 followers and 129k views across all social media platforms, but I have not generated any leads. The guarantee has some questionable fine print—it extends beyond the service term. While their term is 6 months, the guarantee stipulates posting for 300 consecutive days for just 1 million views using an editor trained by them. Their approach seems to rely heavily on a chatbot that creates AI-generated podcasts and script clips, which are sent to me for recording and editing, followed by auto-posting through an uploader. I've received several negative comments regarding AI scripting. I was drawn in by the ads and training that emphasized their expertise in iteration and choosing successful strategies, but none of that has materialized. Month 2 saw a 50% drop in impressions, and Month 3 experienced an additional 25% decline. When I expressed concerns about not following the suggested strategies, I was merely referred back to the contract and told it’s all about consistency—just post 300 times. I was also advised to email support with any concerns. I did this twice but received no response. This feels like one of those companies that makes grand claims but offers guarantees that are nearly impossible to meet. I am based in Australia, and perhaps they are unable to provide adequate service here, while others may be having a better experience. After receiving a response from the service, it became clear that their communication appears automated and lacks authenticity. Additionally, I discovered that the editor training program lasts 3 months, and my client success coach was unaware of this, meaning I wouldn’t qualify for the guarantee regardless of views. You claim the 12-month term is commendable, but from a guarantee perspective, that only applies once service ends. How is that ethical? Guarantees should reflect your performance. Regarding the AI comments I raised, they were ignored in our communication channels. I have yet to receive any email responses. Access to the main representative is not feasible, as all calls are scheduled during inconvenient hours for me. The service does not accommodate all time zones; my client success representative has missed the last two recordings due to scheduling conflicts, so I handled them myself. Support has not been responsive; it’s not just three unanswered emails—though you’ve managed to reply more promptly here. Ultimately, this seems to be a case of relying on AI scripts, VA editing, and hoping I don't complete the requirements to avoid paying out the guarantee.
The available training is incredibly beneficial for understanding the core fundamentals and basics of posting. It’s very easy to grasp. I am really enjoying the coaching sessions on the platform so far. I believe it's crucial for anyone looking to succeed on social media, expand their audience, and secure deals.
