Misled and Frustrated by the Service

I called to clarify if this was a membership with automatic billing, and I was assured it wasn't. I could purchase as I wanted, and the wine club was optional. A month later, they charged £30 to my credit card and sent an email full of irrelevant promotions and credits (which felt like tricks). I was intentionally misled by the staff; this feels like a scam. After I threatened to dispute the charge, they claimed to have refunded me and canceled my membership. I'll wait to see if that actually happens—last time they lied, so I don't trust them at all. Steer clear, no matter how appealing their introductory offer may seem. The brand used to represent quality, but now it feels unreliable.

Special offer disappointment

I ordered the deal of 3 bottles for £12, but the wine was terrible. To make matters worse, I was charged £30 per month without my consent. I'm also having a hard time canceling this subscription! Update: the support team has canceled my subscription and processed a refund.

Disappointing Product and Terrible Customer Service

I just received my advent calendar, which cost £100. It was packed incorrectly, with cardboard behind every door instead of wine. This is my fourth calendar, and each time there have been issues. The customer service has consistently been unsatisfactory. I won't be ordering again.

Deceptive Practices and Poor Customer Support

I received a voucher for a case of wine after an online purchase, assuming it was a one-time deal for about £60. I was unaware that I would be enrolled in an ongoing subscription, and my card would be charged again without consent. A month later, £137 was withdrawn from my account for another case. I reached out to the support team to cancel my subscription, but the promised email confirmation never came. The delivery still arrived, and I faced further difficulties in returning it for a refund. The responses I received were frustratingly unhelpful.

This Wine Service Feels Like a Scam

I’m sharing this after receiving their beer calendar. I was skeptical due to previous experiences. The beers were cheap imitations or poor mixes, all below 5% for nearly £100!
