I’ve done numerous surveys for this company and never been paid. They keep telling me the check has been mailed and it may take up to 12 weeks to receive, however, when I reach out to them they always say they’ll send a replacement check and never do. They’ve offered to pay me with Amazon gift cards instead and still, they don’t send them. The service is horrible and the factual the don’t pay is ridiculous.
Just to jump in and add to all the previous reviews, I have also not gotten paid for most of the work I have done with them. Its been a year back to a few months ago that they have owed for previous projects. I have reached out to them multiple times via email and always get the same canned response, that they are working on their payment system.I doubt I will ever see any of these funds, but I want to warn people not to work with them or you will not get paid.
This company is a SCAM. Do not participate with their "research" if you are expecting to be compensated. I have been waiting for two years for $623. They used to respond to emails but that has stopped. They initially blamed staffing changes, corporate restructuring and various other reasons for their delay in compensation. Do NOT give them personal information, bank account information or any other information.
I wanted to add this update in the hopes that many of you that are still owed monies, maybe will see some light at the end of the tunnel, After a complaint to their cities BBB, with no response. And countless emails. I accepted an Amazon gift card. This allowed me to do my Food Shop for end of December/Jan.Persistence does pay off.
I have completed 3 surveys and been invited to fill out over 40. and to begin the survey, they ask for information about you and your health, only to be told you're not eligible and they already got your information, age, sex, medical diagnosis, and demographic information but yet they invite you to the survey. Since the company is collecting sensitive health data deceptively or refusing to honor deletion/opt‑out requests, I was told u can file a complaint with consumer protection authorities such as the FTC in the U.S. and include documentation of the invites and the data you provided
It seems that this company just recruits participants but does not pay the promised incentives. I would advise everyone to avoid doing any research for this fraudulent enterprise. I would also advise those that have been scammed to go back through your emails and look for sponsor information and notify them of what is going on. i contacted HRW Healthcare and they were surprised and hopefully will discontinue using Virtue. I plan to continue to contact other medical companies to let them know if they use Virtue they are participating in a violation of research industry standards and fraud.
