It seemed like the platform was trying to confirm the order with the wine store supplier, but in the end the wine store seemed to be scrambling to fulfill an order they obviously couldn’t. Then I appreciate asking if I wanted to keep or cancel order. In the end the communication was poor and I cancelled the order finding it elsewhere. I use to use Vivino a fair amount but since covid this is the typical frustrating service I have come to expect

I genuinely regret accidentally deleting the Vivino application, as this has unfortunately prevented me from independently accessing my past order history to corroborate my recollection.

The Chatbox they offer to communicate with is worthless. The corporate headquarters address listed is invalid. I was told after visiting the address, they relocated over 3 years with no forwarding address. All in all, they are misleading. I will never order from Vivino again.

Delivery Issues with My Order

I placed an order for a bottle of wine on 12/23, but encountered problems with the tracking information, leaving me uncertain about the delivery status. The automated chat was not very helpful, and I had to repeat my details multiple times. After submitting a support ticket, I received an email indicating a new delivery date, but no actual date was provided and the tracking was still incorrect. I eventually spoke with a customer service representative who confirmed the tracking issue and mentioned they would reach out to the seller. As of 12/31, I'm still in the dark about when or if my wine will arrive.

Recent Orders Disappointment

I placed two orders recently, and both arrived later than the expected delivery time. While that wasn't a major issue, I received a different wine than what was advertised on the platform. It took an incredibly long time for the support team to acknowledge the specific problem instead of just offering generic apologies. Now, five days have passed since I reached out, and I'm still waiting for detailed information on how this will be resolved. The customer service has really declined compared to my previous experiences, and I would recommend exploring other reputable wine sellers instead.

Road to hell

With each new release, Vivino disappoints me more and more. Las time they changed the way the wines are displayed, requiring a user 1-2 tap more to get to his wines, and really ugly wine list, that’s terrible. Even worse, today I was not able to add a wine with 2024 vintage just because “this vintage isn’t available on our platform” (I had to contact support to figure this out) - and before you can add any vintage/yeart. That’s terrible user experience; if users will not be able to add wines, there will be no reviews , and nobody will be able to check a new wine if it’s good or not - since there are no reviews. So they are killing both users keeping their wine lists and user’s seeing wine ratings to choose or buy the wine. Good luck vivino team to the road to hell, and with the same trend, goodbye shortly after 10 years of being active users.

Ordered last 4 bottles of a wine I specifically wanted then added others to make a case and get the discount. Then they substituted another wine for the 4 I really wanted. Hope it’s as good or better. A year does make a difference. Just sayin
