Review Time
Been trying to cancel the service since I moved away and sold my house for 4 months. The customer service you have to jump through hoops just to talk to someone. Everyone I have spoken to on multiple occasions trying to cancel has been very rude, broken English and hard to understand. I explained I moved away and no longer need the monthly service. Then they tell me I need to pay 200$+ to cancel the service. I have been with Vivant since July of 2021. The way this company handles this sort of thing is ridiculous and unprofessional. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Anyone using this company ever. Go buy your own system that doesn’t have a monthly fee and you will be glad you did unless you never plan to cancel. Note that only half the cameras I have still work and I have tried getting them to repair them or help me and the 3x I tried to get help I was told parts were in the mail which once again never received. This company has countless broken promises and the way the do business is toxic! Look else where I strongly urge you!
I had a new security system installed today, and Bassem was absolutely outstanding. He was here for nearly 7 hours and worked with such professionalism, patience, and attention to detail from start to finish.
Not only did he complete the installation thoroughly, but he also went above and beyond by running new wiring to make everything cleaner and more secure. He even noticed my air conditioning tubing was loose and took the time to tape and secure it — something he didn’t have to do, but did simply because he cares about doing the job right.
It’s rare to see that level of dedication and pride in workmanship. Bassem truly exceeded expectations, and I’m incredibly grateful for his hard work and integrity. If you get him as your technician, you’re in excellent hands!
The absolute worst customer service once they sent their customer service to a call center over seas. Definitely do not use auto pay. I sold my home and didn’t want to continue service with them. They told me my account was canceled the put in the system notes that I only wanted 1 month of no service. Then continued to charge me. Called back to find out what’s going on to only be shuffled around to supervisors whose headsets did not work. Then told that I would have to call back. Which then I gave to explain the whole situation over again to the next 2 people to get back to another supervisor. Finally said my account was canceled and would be refunded only to be charged again a month later.
Terrible, I would rate them lower than 1 star if I could. Im retired Army and used them for 10 years due to being gone allot. Once my retirement came up and was home more I tried to cancel. Note all equipment is paid off and I did not sign a contract with them. I moved from the house that I had the service with called them and let them know and they still continue to charge me services at a home I do not even live at. They are trash money hungry blood suckers. Do not use them!!!
For one they lied to mom about having to pay for the equipment. She is retired and was too nice to say anything to them when she got the bill. The charge you to have a tech come out and fix a problem that you had nothing to do with. THEY ARE A SCAM
ATTENTION AUGUSTA GA. Be sure to double check that your vehicles are locked before going in for the night even if you pay $4000 for home security. At 5:18am this morning we were not notified by our Vivint system as my Fiance's truck was broke into..searched... every compartment was left open...things thrown everywhere & cash as well as alot of valuable items were stolen. As you can see in the video we had no alerts, there was no beeping/lights flashing as these teenagers were going through the truck while both doors were open. We wouldve been woken up immediately if our bullies werent inside for the night. They def give us security we can trust to get the job done. Smh...Forchinately these dopeheads dropped there iphone in our front yard while running away its currently being looked at by the police. The report is filed. These 3 boys are still on the loose around town they were reported after robbing someone else up the street. The cops K9's chased them hours after this event. They dropped one of there bookbags but were not caught. Stay safe guys! I 💯 do not RECOMMEND Vivint Security and we will be canceling after only being offered a $99 compensation for there faulty alerting security system. DO BETTER Bri(e) M. with VIVINT!😡 ID # 210521
I had my system for a year and the equipment stop working. Now remind you this system is well over 3 thousands dollars. I called and was told that they could get a text out to me with a fee. I asked about the warranty and was told that you only get a two week warranty once the system is installed. The second problem is the sensors sometimes don't work and the third problem is that when you go looking on your phone to see your home it spins and takes about 15 to 20 minutes before your phone pulls up the camera. Please do not get this system it is definitely overrated and a rip of.

Could someone please contact us with the information I requested? We have been advised that the remaining balance on our ADT account should be paid, as was originally quoted to us by Choice Home and confirmed by the customer service representative when I called to provide the final bill amount.
I have been waiting for confirmation that you will honor the commitment made to us. At this point, I am concerned about an outstanding balance with ADT that may negatively impact my credit.
If you are unable to uphold your agreement, I request that your equipment be removed from our residence. Should this happen, I will have no choice but to report this matter to the appropriate authorities. Additionally, I intend to contact the corporate office and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I also plan to share a negative review on social media.

D'Angelo did our install and he was very friendly and patient as he walked us through the setting up and app settings. His placement of the doorbell camera is perfect and the quality is amazing.
Vivint has the been the worst service I have ever had. Their system hasn't worked in over 6 months and after numerous times trying to cancel, I am still getting billed. Every time you call they say you have to speak to our loyalty team and put you on hold for 20+ minutes. I have never been connected. Please do your research and go with anyone else besides this company. As soon as your system is paid off they completely ignore you and could care less.
