I lost my warby parker glasses therefore ordered another pair. I had them for a month or so and scratched the lense. Not Warby's issue, and they do have a warranty for scratches in the first 6 months which they honored. That being said, it's stated up front that it can take 2 months to get them back...that's a very long time to put in a lense in a frame I think but hey, it was free. On Jan 2nd, I received an email that they will be shipped out in 7-10 days. As of today, I heard again they were shipped to the store, then I was told they were waiting on a reply from the store that they were not shipped, and then I heard they broke the frame (but had a new one in stock). I'm leaving on vacation (driving) and asked they since they had mishandled the order if they could expedite the order and over night them to me. NOPE, they could not and are not. I'm very disappointed in their service!!
The in-store experience was fine, but after they were paid, they seem to lose focus on delivering on the expectations they set. I was given a 14 day lead time on delivery of my glasses. Sadly, the quoted timeframe came and went and no glasses. To add to the experience, I received no communications pertaining to delays unless I initiated the contact. The glasses finally did arrive and they're fine in terms of quality, but due to poor communications, seemingly lack of concern or care about completing the transaction to ensure customer retention, I won't be returning. Additionally, in my humble opinion, it's not unreasonable to expect a company can take an order, make and ship a pair of glasses in 7 days or less. Companies already exist that can make them in an hour, so what's their excuse?
My partner and I took a trip this summer, and he tried on some frames at a store. They looked amazing on him, but they were way too pricey. I planned to get them for him for Christmas. I reached out to the store via chat to ask about submitting his prescription and ordering two pairs. I was told by their representative that it would be simple. However, it turned out to be anything but! I managed to obtain his prescription and uploaded it. A few days later, I received an email stating they needed more information, specifically his pupillary distance. They required me to take a photo with a credit card under his nose, which felt very odd. After multiple attempts, they still requested additional info. They agreed to expedite one pair for $25 while I would cover the other pair's shipping. I was told they would arrive in 10 days from the 13th, but only one pair shipped on December 19th, and it wasn't expedited. Now, it would arrive after Christmas. I asked if they could lend me frames until the real ones arrived, even offering to drive an hour to pick them up, but I was denied. Now, I have nothing to give my partner on Christmas. I'm extremely frustrated with this service. AVOID at all costs!
If I could rate this experience lower, I would. I ordered prescription sunglasses in August, but they faced delays and arrived after my trip. Customer support was unhelpful, and when I finally received the glasses, they fell apart within days. I will not do business with this company again.
After over a decade of purchasing from this company, I dropped off my prescription in early November and waited. When I complained, they refunded me but still promised the glasses. Finally, on December 8, I received glasses that are unusable due to incorrect focal points. I have no intention of going through this again.
I’ve ordered from this company for years, but recently they've used a third-party carrier that consistently mishandles deliveries. My glasses were once tossed on my lawn and another time improperly placed in my mailbox. Despite notifying the company about delivery issues, there was no follow-up, and I felt disregarded as a loyal customer.
The materials used are terrible. A $295 pair of glasses started turning green in just a week, and customer support was dismissive, suggesting I buy another pair instead of addressing the low-quality components. Their response was frustrating, claiming it was a rare issue.
I traveled two hours to find frames and ordered my glasses nearly a month ago, but they still haven't arrived. After reaching out, I was told the lenses were made incorrectly. When I requested a refund, I was told to return nonexistent glasses first. They are holding my money without justification.
The in-store experience was pleasant, but once I ordered my glasses, the service declined. I faced unexpected delays and learned my order was canceled without clear reasons, resulting in further waiting. When I asked for a discount due to the inconvenience, I was told no, which was disappointing.
