Do not use this company. They also trade under the name Warranty People.Their engineers will try to convince you your boiler needs replacing. Their engineers are not allowed to undertake any repairs without their so called specialist team reviewing their recommendations that if accepted can take weeks. Their so called specialist team are office workers intent on finding any excuse to tell you your policy doesn't cover work required.My experienceFirst engineer two out of the five radiators on the first floor are not heating up because the boiler needs changing and power flush required. Not covered in my policy Second engineer found filling tack empty as ball valve stuck and excessive air had entered the system.Didn't remove air from the system. Still two radiators not heating up.Third engineer came out and I informed him I had to bleed the system out myself from the self venting values in the loft which I had to close back up as they continued to leak when left open as they should be. He informed his so called specialist team they needed replacing and they after a week informed me they considered in contradiction to the engineer that they wasn't considered being essential to the heating system so wouldn't be replaced.
I needed a repair, they said the boiler was not economical to repair and needed about £400 spent. They offered me nothing, however if the repair had been £200 they would have paid. I do not understand why they could not contribute this £200 towards the boiler repair even if they then would not want to continue my cover. Basically for an old boiler you are paying a premium for next to no cover and for a serious repair they pay nothing, how can this be fair? I paid for the repair and on needing a service on this same boiler in October 23 was told by the new gas engineer my boiler had not been properly serviced for many years. Interesting I was with Warrenty People for 3 years! I was told Pressure safety valve jammed, ignition leads bent, air valve leaking, solenoid buzzing, heat exchange overheating as system never cleaned. If you want your system maintained and to last a long time do not choose this company, also not for old boilers where they will refuse based on their assumption of uneconomic to repair, despite me paying higher premium for boiler because of its age. I am a landlord with over 10 properties with over 20 years experience! Complete waste of money.
Used web-chat to begin with and progressed to a phone call. Both very efficient and the gentleman who dealt with my inquiry was more than helpful. Very articulate and explained everything in full with no pressure sales. I hope the future service is as good as the initial contact!
