Throughout ordering process all seemed okay. Robin Smith confirmed and sent proofs for sign-off. Since payment and tracking delivery - there has been zero contact from the company. All phone numbers are automated responses with no space left for messages. We will be contacting our bank to see how we can reverse payment.
We recently ordered greaseproof paper and there was a mix-up with our order, we received parchment paper instead. I was prepared for a complicated resolution, but the company’s customer service was outstanding. Robin took full responsibility, corrected the mistake immediately, and within five days, we had the correct greaseproof paper in hand. Initial teething problems aside, It was a smooth, hassle-free experience, and I really appreciate their great customer service. Kudos to Robin and the team!
WARNING....DO NOT use these people! From beginning to end, my experience was a disaster. I am a Canadian and I was looking for a local Canadian supplier to print a job quickly and avoid any slowdowns that might occur shipping over the border from the USA or overseas. I was assured by the salesperson, Robin, that the job would be printed in Ontario and delivered to my doorstep within 30 business days. I prepaid. After 32 days and no delivery, I contacted the Robin who sent me a FedEx receipt 1 day later that said the job had shipped BY SEA for ultimate delivery to an address IN TEXAS!!! I tried frantically to reach anyone at WAXPAPERS. Emails were not returned. Phone calls went to voice mailboxes. I went to the PayPal sight I used to pay for the job and saw that the WAXPAPERS invoice was paid to a company called Mugshei Inc. The promised 30 days was past, my client needed his printed products NOW and I had nothing to deliver. I contacted the credit card company and told them I was scammed. Money was returned to me AND ONLY THEN someone from Waxpapers called me....several days after I tried contacting them. I was told by a manager, Mr James, that the job was printed in New Jersey and that Robin had no authority to tell me the job would be printed in Canada. This was a lie because the FedEx receipt I got in April showed the job was printed overseas and shipped by boat to California in early April and then ultimately to Texas. I was then told that the person who wrongfully received it in Texas would ship it to me in Canada. I received a new FedEx slip that showed the job was shipped by GROUND instead of AIR and, because they had not checked SHIPPER TO PAY ALL DUTIES AND CHARGES, I would be responsible for these. I spoke with the manager, Mr James, at WAXPAPERS who admitted that this was an error on his part but assured me that he would reimburse me for any charges. I insisted I wanted my money back. He assured me the job would get to me soon. I contacted my client who had already given up on me and ordered the print job from someone else. 16 days after I was promised delivery I finally received the printed order from Texas. Of 10,000 printed sheets, more than 75% have the image improperly placed on the sheet and the images are cut off along the edges. I would have been embarrassed to charge my client for these! And the final insult.....I was sent a bill from FedEx for duties and taxes for the shipment now I couldn't use. STILL no one from WAXPAPERS will return my emails or calls.
