Apalling Service

Website package - you will be responsible for chasing the domain transfer, Webahead will not inform you that this has not been done 'as they have thousands of customers' and do not have anything in place to track domain transfers - the helpful, friendly salesman who gives such a dazzling first impression at the start of the process, delinquishes all responsibility and involvement once you have signed up, so it seems.The Credit Control team ferociously chase payment of invoices - it's a shame that the same level of enthusiasm cannot be applied to customer service. Websites are templated and basic, add on pages (ie a gallery) and features are charged accordingly. I had to pay for a different domain to the one I use in order to qualify for the free design, with the promise that this design could and would be attached to my domain once it had been transferred. I have never received any instructions or training on how to make changes to the website or add pictures to my gallery. I have received no reports to track the engagement on my website. I believe there may be a dashboard but I am unsure what level of information it gives as I have not been able to access it.SEO - no reporting or feedback is given to monitor the progress of the SEO package - I forgot I had even taken it out until the auto renew letter came through the post. This prompted me to call and chase the domain transfer, and to cancel the SEO package as I have received no enquiries from my website, and therefore do not see any value in it.I had two calls with very defensive members of staff who just kept telling me I'm on 'page one of Google' and that it wasn't their responsibility to chase the domain transfer. Threats to end the call because of my 'attitude' instead of a simple apology for Webahead falling short of my apparently tall expectations came across as patronising and unnecessary. Zero accountability and an accusatory demeanor with absolutely no empathy for my situation - of course I was irate!! No attempts to understand or resolve my grievances, condescending remarks about me interrupting or talking over which we both did on the call.I made my expectations and requirements perfectly clear when I first agreed to use Webahead, a service I engaged due to my limited knowledge and time and just wanting a nice website for client reference. Naively, I expected Webahead to keep me updated of progress and hurdles in relation to my domain transfer, as well as give me intermittent updates on my SEO performance throughout the campaign, and adjust the search terms in line with keyword search trends accordingly. I was wrong to assume that this basic expectation would be included in the service level provided by Webahead. Had I realised how much involvement I was expected to have, I would have stayed with the cheaper, basic service I used previously. Extremely disappointed and frustrated that nearly 18 months after I originally engaged the services of Webahead, I do not have a website attached to my domain name. If I want to take the website and continue to use my previous provider, I will be charged a fee to do so. I really regret using this business and would urge anyone considering doing so to clarify exactly what is and isn't included in the money you are charged. In my opinion this is a complete waste of money.I have now cancelled all services with this company due to the complete lack of communication, customer service and inability to proactively work with me to achieve my objectives.

Had a great and fun experience creating…

Had a great and fun experience creating our new website with Webahead. Arran has been super helpful all through the process and guided us along the way. We didn't go live with the website until we were 100% satisfied and any changes we needed to make along the way were processed very quick! Definitely recommend for anyone looking to have a website built and designed.
