Don't trust the size

I bought the 10mm dog kibble - was less than 5mm and was told on complaining that it was in manufacturing tolerances - I am an engineer and 50% tolerance on your output size is worse than pathetic

Brilliant dry dog food

Have used wellness core dry dog food for 4 years now. My frenchie love its keeps her in tip top condition with a nice shiny coat. I’m also using their dry puppy food on my rottie cross with the same results

Bugs in the dry dog food

For the second time in about 4 months, the Wellness dry dog food we bought had bugs in it. The first time was spiders and moths, this time is little worms. Disgusting to say the least!

Bait and switch

Bait and switch, WPF recently changed the Sojos dog food formula by replacing most of the meat with chickpea flour. Worse part is they didn't notify any of their customers about the dramatic change.

Big Thumbs Up

I contacted Wellness Pet Food with a polite request that their 50 pack box of Whimzees Rice Bones and their 18 pack box of Veggie Ears might be more individual in appearance as I'd received a box of each from one of their retailers rather than the 2 boxes of Rice Bones I'd ordered (see my scathing SuperPet review for details!). The contact at Wellness couldn't have been nicer: - provided me with a list of their other UK retailers, assured me the details of the case would be provided to the UK sales manager and asked for my address so they could send me a "little gift" - which made my day, as I'd really been feeling miffed by SuperPet's attitude. It had been SuperPet's mistake, but they did the bare minimum in response and were thoroughly unpleasant to communicate with into the bargain (I later checked their Trustpilot reviews ... it's a common theme!). Well, the "little gift" arrived from Wellness Pet today ... and it was very generous. I won't go into detail, but suffice to say my dog is no longer 'out of pocket' on the chews front, scored some training treats, too, and even my cats got a wee something :) . They must have clocked one of my cats in the photo of the two boxes I sent to them and how they'd been packaged cellophaned together ... he is the nosiest of my cats and usually contrives to photobomb things I'm trying to photograph! That's been the nicest thing that's happened to me in a while - I didn't think companies were like this in this day and age. They didn't have to do that - it wasn't their mistake. Also to mention: I've been buying the Whimzees Rice Bones now for over a decade; covering two of my own dogs and also my Romanian foster dogs ... all of whom adore(d) the product. Big thumbs up - highly recommended!

Wellness made my cats sick

Got a chicken and turkey lover's variety pack for my 2 cats. Gave them each a 3oz can for dinner. Both got sick and were vomiting all night. It's 7:30 am now and I'm deciding if we need to go to the vet. They're both lethargic.

Do NOT buy this food

Do NOT buy this food. I had my mini schnauzer on it and she got pancreatitis and was hospitalised for two days after being on this food. Rancid vegetable fats are what did it from this awful food. I HATE this brand for this.

Tiny Tasters made in Thailand

Have fed wet Wellness to cats, past & present for yrs. Continue to support them as made in US. Have a present rescue for just over a yr and she was doing well on Wellness pates. She suddenly refused to eat them (kept eating her kibble) so switched over to gravies which she loved until approximately a wk ago. Now same thing. Still eating kibble. Made a quick visit to petstore to see if a topper would help. Grabbed a couple of Wellness Tiny Taster chicken. Opened up pouch and not impressed with look of it but mixed some in with original chicken gravy. She ate a bit but refused anymore. As I was washing out pouch I took a quick peek at back. Made in Thailand! This would not make a difference to many and I respect that, as everyone's finances are different. Personally, will not knowingly feed any cat food made in Thailand or Vietnam.

I don’t know what some people who can’t…

I don’t know what some people who can’t write proper English say about this food but it has all the great ingredients and nothing bad. It must be someone in china who works for Purina where that junk is made. It’s not roadkill or filler.
