This company is a bunch of thieves. I opened up a bank account exactly the way I was supposed to. I confirmed it to get the promotion of a $425 to open up a bank account. I met all the requirements and then they refused to give it to. You don’t use this bank. They’re a bunch of scumbags.

If they had a 0 stars available I would use it . I have NEVER liked Wells Fargo bank . There's a reason they are few and far between compared to working banks. I had to get one for a settlement check. They posted the amount and then as soon as I put TRASH BANK as my nickname for the bank they sent me a returned check deposit . I ABSOLUTLY LOATHE THIS TRASH BANK.

The worst bank ever, they report to credit bureau for a new account that the owner isn’t even aware of or hasn’t opened or they haven’t confirmed the owner's awareness and hit ur credit for 10$ bill by a hundred. The most unreasonable ppl ever. I would avoid at any cost.

If an account has a balance below $1,500 and deposits are below $500, they charge a $15 monthly fee.

If an account has a balance below $1,500 and deposits are below $500, they charge a $15 monthly fee. Maybe people with those finances can’t afford having $15 taken from them every month. Change that policy so you’re not taking hard earned money from the poor!

Disappointed with the service during a crisis

I have been a customer for a long time, and on January 1, my entire condo building caught fire, displacing eight families and causing us to lose everything. This was the first time I overdrafted my account, and I explained the situation, highlighting that I consistently deposited at least $5,000. However, they turned off the overdraft feature and temporarily disabled my online account after I settled the overdraft, claiming it was a system issue. Their system is inconsiderate and does not reflect any commitment to customer satisfaction or support during such a critical time. I feel unappreciated when I trust them with my hard-earned funds.

Extremely Disappointed with the Service

I am incredibly frustrated with the service. It feels like a complete waste of my time. I hope they face serious consequences for their actions. Why is it so challenging to receive proper assistance from this company? I want to transfer my rewards balance to my account or get a check, and they are just awful. I would advise against trusting them or doing business with them unless absolutely necessary. I wish nothing but the worst for them.

Misleading and Dismissive Handling of My Credit Card Account

The management of my credit card account has been misleading, dismissive, and fundamentally lacking in transparency. I paid my account in full during the billing cycle, totaling over $14,000, and the account showed a $0.00 balance with no pending purchases or fees. However, the company later generated a new balance by adding an interest charge after the account was fully paid. At no point during the payment process—whether online, on my statement, or through customer service—was I warned that paying an account to zero after the due date but before statement closing would still incur future interest charges. This critical information is not clearly disclosed in billing statements or agreements, and the payment due date is consistently emphasized in terms of late fees and minimum payment requirements, rather than as a trigger for post-payoff interest. When I raised the concern, several representatives acknowledged that the charge seemed incorrect but claimed they couldn't resolve it. I escalated the issue formally and submitted a detailed written complaint about the lack of disclosure and the fact that the account was paid to zero before the interest was posted. After receiving a generic response, I filed a second formal complaint, reiterating my stance, highlighting the shortcomings in their explanation, and specifically requesting either a goodwill reversal or clarification of the exact contractual language that allows for post-payoff interest in these situations. The company's response to the second complaint simply stated that the issue had “already been addressed,” that I had “provided no new information,” and they resent the same boilerplate explanation—without engaging with the essence of my arguments or clearly identifying where customers are informed that a balance can arise after payoff. This dismissive approach shows a refusal to genuinely consider customer concerns and implies that the complaint process is more procedural than substantive. This isn't about refusing to pay interest; it's about incurring debt after payoff without clear disclosure and then dismissing legitimate inquiries when questioned. The company's actions reflect poor transparency, insufficient consumer communication, and a concerning reliance on vague disclosures instead of clear, fair practices. Consumers deserve clarity—not technical traps and scripted responses. I will not engage further with this company and strongly advise others to examine their statements closely, especially after settling a balance.

Frustrating experience with customer support

My experience with the customer support was frustrating. If you call their toll-free number, be ready to wait over 15 minutes just for them to process your issue. It can be very demoralizing as they test your patience, make you weary from the wait, and often give you false reassurances, only to leave the problem unresolved for over a week.

Why is this company still operating?

Why is this company still operating? The corporate structure has limited their employees, preventing them from providing adequate customer support. I spent an hour on the phone with a representative and her manager trying to obtain a lien release form. It takes WEEKS, and the last one we received was a copy the local clerk wouldn’t accept. This is a complete failure as a service provider.
