Truly amazing service. I made an error in our booking (wrong day, I confirmed it to Alpinbuses on two separate occasions, DOH!) but one phone call and an email and within 15 mins of spotting the mistake I'd made when I touched down in Zurich, they had sorted out another transfer for our group of three. No fuss, no additional charge. Brilliant brilliant service from Ernests and the team at Alpinbus.

Extremely disappointing experience with return transfer

The service for our return transfer was very disappointing, leading us to miss our flight from Chambrey and incurring additional costs for rebooking from Geneva Airport. We were initially informed the day before that our pickup would be at 13:20 from Flaine for our 18:00 flight. However, on the morning of departure, we received an email stating the driver would be an hour late but assured us we would still reach the airport in time to check in. Unfortunately, this was not the case, as we were informed just 40 minutes before the rescheduled pickup that they were having issues and attempting to arrange a taxi, which would require at least two vehicles for our group of eight, including a young child. This arrangement never materialized, and after over an hour of trying to contact the driver, we discovered he had just begun his journey up the mountain. Realizing we wouldn't make our flight, we opted to book new flights from Geneva to Bristol for that evening. The driver finally arrived after 15:30, over two hours late, with no apology or explanation. As a group, we ended up spending at least an extra £1600 on flights and also had to arrange a transfer from Bristol airport, which was not our intended destination. While our initial transfer from Chambrey to Flaine was smooth with a helpful driver, the return journey was a complete debacle, with no accountability or apologies for missing our flight. We will definitely not be using this service again or recommending it to others.
