Review Time
The way banks conduct face-to-face business hasn’t evolved since their beginnings. I am currently waiting in a branch and have been in line for 15 minutes, likely to wait another 10 before reaching the ONE teller available after a holiday. There are at least two other employees doing various tasks, yet they’re not assisting customers. All I needed was a money order. Being from out of town, I relied on this being the closest bank. Had I known, I would have steered clear. When I finally got to the counter, I was told they couldn’t sell me a money order without an account. It's time for banks to reconsider their practices and focus more on customer needs.
Incompetent and disrespectful all around. This location is the worst! Calling their customer service is no better. The left hand doesn't know what the right one is doing. It's mind-boggling how they can operate at this level. Totally unprofessional and lacking in helpfulness. I was even blocked from entering their locations due to their inability to handle criticism. People don’t deserve this kind of treatment, and I will warn everyone to avoid them.
I was assured that using their card would cover car rental expenses in case of issues. That turned out to be false. I had to buy a new tire for a rental because I couldn't get help from the rental company. They claimed that didn't count as roadside service and wouldn’t reimburse me. I also faced overcharges and was told I could dispute them, but later found out I didn’t qualify. They shifted responsibility away from themselves.
I was stuck on their automated service for far too long without getting any closer to resolving my issue. After finally reaching a representative, I was transferred multiple times for another 90 minutes. All I wanted was to address a missing bill payment. I had to demand a supervisor, and after another thirty minutes, they finally managed to resolve the issue.
Honestly, zero stars would be a more fitting rating. Their systems are outdated, and it’s far too complicated to get answers. The wait times are endless when you call. I’m switching to newer online banks from now on; this experience was just unacceptable.
After over 15 years, I finally closed all my accounts due to exorbitant fees and terrible customer service, both online and in person. Recently, I attempted to sell my car, and because my loan was with them, it turned into a nightmare. They refused to accept payment methods from another bank, giving me different reasons each time. It took nearly three weeks to pay off the car. This experience has solidified my decision to take my business elsewhere.
This review is meant for the company. I’ve been a customer for 17 years and rely on online banking daily. The website falsely indicated that my mobile number was a landline, blocking me from using certain services. After several calls and transfers, I still couldn’t access my account properly. I ended up having to visit in person, only to be told I couldn't get help without an appointment. My experience was frustrating until I finally found a representative who helped resolve the issues.
The tellers and managers at this branch are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly! They provided excellent advice on protecting my accounts and even helped me switch to a higher interest rate on one of my accounts. I highly recommend this branch!
I had the most awful customer service experience! I waited 1.5 hours for a banker who spent over an hour discussing personal matters while several customers were left waiting. When I finally asked how much longer, the banker became defensive. We chose to leave after that.
