Consistently Unusable Facilities

Every time I board the train, the restrooms are rarely available. On the rare occasion they are, they are often in poor condition with urine on the floor. As someone who values cleanliness, I find that the sinks are designed poorly, causing water to splash everywhere, soaking the floors and my clothes. Furthermore, trains are frequently delayed, yet the fare remains full price. If you don't have a ticket because of cancellations or delays, inspectors are quick to impose hefty fines, even when the tickets are only a few pounds.

Journey to London on the Railway

Traveling to London on the regional railway was a pleasant experience. The train may not have been brand new, but it was clean and well-maintained. It wasn't crowded at all, making for the ideal trip. The train arrived right on schedule, and the return journey was equally enjoyable, clean, and tidy. Kudos to the cleaning team for their efforts!

Impressive design and space in new trains

I'm really impressed with the design and spaciousness of the new trains. Even during busy periods, there’s typically a comfortable spot to sit or stand without feeling cramped. I frequently travel on the regional line, particularly in the area, and I find that they are mostly on time. Although there have been occasional cancellations and delays, overall, they perform quite well. Ticket prices are reasonable too, as I can travel to the city center for about £5 round trip with my Railcard, which is a great deal. So far, I haven't encountered any major issues with the service, making my experiences quite positive.

Consistently late trains

Trains are rarely on time lately. The regional railway, which used to be dependable, has significantly deteriorated over the past few months. I used to prefer trains over buses due to their reliability, but that has changed. Specifically, the 7:35 service to a nearby destination is consistently late, and the 8:15 trains have become the slowest. It's quite frustrating.

Difficulties in claiming refunds

There's little point in adding another negative review, as the service seems indifferent to feedback. I've faced lengthy waits on the regional line with no trains available for over an hour. The refund process is a hassle, requiring me to send my ticket to a distant location, even when there's a ticket office nearby. It feels like they're making it unnecessarily complicated to claim a refund.

Unacceptable service levels

Once again, I've experienced a shocking level of service from this company. More delays left my son stranded and unable to reach his college. I would be embarrassed to be associated with this service due to their incompetence and unreliability. The endless cancellations and delays are unacceptable.

Driver missed the stop

I took the first train out and had to transfer at a specific time. However, the driver missed the designated stop, causing significant delays as we waited for taxis for those affected. I was due to arrive at a certain time, but it's now well past that, and we're still stationary. This is completely unacceptable.

Overcrowded trains

It's alarming how many people were allowed onto an already full train. Passengers were being trampled and squashed, yet more were still being let on!
