I have a leatherman rebar which I dropped of a ladder with the blade out, it snapped the tip of the blade.I sent it to whitby and co and i received the best service i have ever had within 4 working days I received what looks like a new one back. they have cleaned it so it ALL looks new every component is oiled up and even sent it back boxed with a brand new sheath 😱 I mean if that isn't 100% top service then I don't know what is.I was worried about sending it off as I struggle not having my leatherman with me but when I did I expected maybe 2-3 weeks but when I sent it on Saturday and received it back today Thursday I was over the moon.If anybody has any questions please don't hesitate to comment or message me because I can assure you any issues with your leatherman these are the guys to sort it. They didn't ask any questions just a description of the broken part and that's it. No proof of purchase required nothing.I could honestly write so much about how happy I am with the service provided.5* whitby and co thank you very much.
After losing (a certain person in my family)the filler unit i got in touch with Whitby and company and Lisa helped me out so much by sending me another. I wish other companies were as focused on customer relations . Thankyou so much for your help the hand warmer is fully functioning and providing warmth so well .
I don't write many good reviews, and a 5-star rating is rare indeed; but for Whitby & Co. nothing less will do. Thirty years ago I sold their knives when I ran a shop in the North of Scotland, and even then they were a great, professional company to deal with. As a former knife dealer I have Victorinox knives and Leatherman tools everywhere. One of them bent a spring when it was accidentally run over by a four-wheel drive and within 10 days, with a minimum of fuss, Whitby sent me a brand new Leatherman Wingman. They even wrote, apologizing for not being able to supply me just the replacement spring! This is, hands down, the best service department in the UK! Thanks, guys!
When my Leatherman's screwdriver bit holder shattered apart 12 years into me owning it, I didn't understand why this company was the one to honour that 25-year warranty so I ended up unsure for about 3 months, not completely trusting if I should send it or just live with the broken tool (only the screwdriver was out of action after all). I want sure how this company was affiliated with Leatherman and I didn't buy the tool from them ... However, I eventually did send it and they were exceptional, sending a replacement within the week. I will certainly be buying from them in future.
I was given a small leatherman as a gift about a year ago but sadly the spring on the scissors broke. I contacted Whitby &Co and they advised me that the item was still covered by warranty. I returned it to them and I received a new item by return of post. Outstanding service.
I purchased a Whitby knife from a retail shop, I had a problem with my knife just after the warranty ran out. I contacted Whitby direct and included a photograph so that they could see the issue. I was advised that they would be happy to replace.3 days later I received a new knife in the post, the customer service is second to none.Thank you for such good serviceAllen Jones
Excellent warranty. The blade on my leatherman snapped, I sent it to Whitby and Co half expecting them to reject it as it has had some hammer over the years, nope less than a week later I received a shiny new one in the post. You might pay a bit more for a leatherman but it's worth it in the long run, excellent tools with an excellent warranty to back it up. Thanks leatherman and Whitby & Co.
