SCAM - DO NOT BUY WINE FROM THEM!

I paid £79.99 for 6 bottles of Whispering Angel with a “small print” ad that didn’t mention anything about a £119 membership fee. Later, I was charged £119 as a “membership” with no clear warning or pop‑up, hidden in a FAQ buried underneath the initial order.To get my first order they told me I had to download and install the Winedrops app to “verify age” before they would send anything. This is clearly a trick to trigger the membership payment outside of proper disclosure, with no notice at checkout. To add insult to injury, my first order has still not arrived and they are using the excuse of “possible damage to the box” as a delay tactic.Their first email even admits there are “warehouse delays” and offers credit notes, while pushing you to speak to them within 7 days – classic stalling. I want to cancel my original wine order and receive a full refund for both the £119 membership and the £79.99 wine that never arrived.This setup is full of loopholes and feels outright fraudulent. I’m warning others so this doesn’t happen again. Research this company carefully before you click anything. They are scammers who rely on hidden terms, app tricks, and shifting blame onto “delays” or “box damage” while still taking your money.MY DEMAND: full refund of £119 membership and £79.99 wine order, plus confirmation that my membership is cancelled and their payments are blocked on my card.
