Review Time
There were two main traits that inspired the five star review. The first trait was the production value. The game is incredibly well polished. Voice acting, graphics, sound design, user interface, all extremely high quality. The second trait was the challenge of the puzzles. My partner and I play tons of escape games: board games, video games, real life escape rooms, and usually there are some puzzles that are either too easy or too hard for us. But every single puzzle was exactly the right challenge level. Not easy, but also didn't stump us. This led to one of the most satisfying escapes we've ever had.
Always enjoy wolf games, each game they create just keeps getting better in graphics and storylines. Pharaoh's tomb is rated 3/5 difficulty but I would rate is at least a 4. My husband and I both enjoyed the game and will do the next one once released too.
So i absolutly loved this, it was very good, well made, the puzzles were good. the quality, presentation and from buying to completing was great...The only thing i would say is, this took us about an hour and half, and we were distracted mid way through. and the cost of it was right up there close to a physical escape room. But this is closer to a computer game, which a puzzle game with a longer story and similar puzzles but lasts hours and hours longer isnt greatly much more money.. Like point and click adventure games come with animations or even FMVs and are often less money with lots more content. I liked the hour to two hour game, but maybe the price point in comparison is a little up there..
