I used to love this game. The designers keep adding new features but the bugs are multiplying. Rivals locks up at mid game constantly and costs you the time you waited. Another needed fix is to let you see a person’s profile before accepting a game with strangers. There are a lot of creepy people on this app.
The game has lots of issues. Word Rival is a coin stealee when people play q or 2 riunds and close their browser. Ending game with no winner ir loser.Regular WWF games is that men think its a place to meet wimen. I'm here strictly for the game. Married 40 yrs and dont want to be bothered. I wish the game was limited to those with FB accts only. WWF keeps taking away coins and giving less coins. Its all about the money and my play is less because of this. Quit being so stingy.
This game is rigged. They are using algorithms to give you words that either are with no vowels or too many similar vowels. Especially if you are buying coins. It’s no longer fair. It induces you to spend more money to buy coins. It used to be a great game. Such a shame
Word with Friends WAS a good game when I started playing it in 2011. From that year on they started to introduce changes. Example adding 150 words that were not recognized by any dictionary. Adding Solo a game against their computer that uses word at times that have no meaning to 90% of their followers. And the last resort using their computer to work against people who do not BUY their coins. I only play against very long time players for the most part, which play the game as l do ….. no made up words that have no dictionary meaning.SAD!
I’ve played this game for years and generally enjoy it despite the ads. As for the creepy predators, change your profile to “male” and only use initials or a male name and generic profile picture. I wish wwf would include percentage of wins on stats.I’ve had many hours of fun with this app.
The changes in this game get increasingly annoying, and are all so obviously geared toward making money. The game routinely distracts playing, and is doing all it can to get you to upgrade at your expense. I believe it is even rigged to reduce your ability to earn points, putting you in the position of needing to buy what used to be points for games well played. It’s irritating to have the constant interruptions, especially when it’s trying to trick you into spending money.
I have been playing this games for years, and haven’t been bothered by scammers. However I’m quite annoyed by all the non-English words allowed - generally Arabic and Sanskrit. Ie: djebel. And rejection of some words commonly used in Canada- ie. adieuThe other thing that has really been annoying me lately is that I have played several games where I either get all consonates or all vowels for nearly the whole game. I don’t believe the letters I’m getting can be randomly generated - again, a bot controlling my game? Happens too often and IMO is statistically impossible to have that happen on such a regular basis. And of course the 30 second commercials are intolerable.
