WWF is rife with predators who lure…

WWF is rife with predators who lure unsuspecting women to Hangouts. Most say they work on oil rigs and the rest are in the military. They are all single fathers. Once on Hangouts they cement the relationship and then they desperately demand your money. If you decline the conversation the game simply disappears. But if, because you like the game, you engage in polite conversation to keep playing and then refuse to migrate to Hangouts they will block you for wasting their time. Therein lies the problem: once enough of them block the intended victim WWF then BLOCKS THE VICTIM from playing with others (and this is extended to all “with friends games”. This is a perfect reflection of the real world where the predator runs free and the victim is punished.

Suddenly the rewards given are so…

Suddenly the rewards given are so stingy that you are forced to spend money to get the same helper buttons I have enjoyed for years. Really bad way to treat customers.

Advertising is out of control

Advertising is basically hell.Relentless and annoying AF.I hate that when I click on the x to get it off my screen, no matter how many times I try.. It STILL takes me to the product or game advertised. It's horrible. It sucks, because this is literally the only game I play on my phone, and I really love the game it's self.. But this is a huge problem and annoyance for me.I've uninstalled the app for months at a time, but always go back, because.. Well..I'm hopeful this annoyance will change. But it never does, so I end up uninstalling the app once again.I know a lot of people who used to play w me who say the same thing.Hopefully one day I will reinstall the app and I will have a pleasant surprise, but until then..Yall can plant a big one you know where!

Game cheats!!

I enjoyed playing this game but only for a little while. For some reason when I'm close to someone they automatically win and I still have tiles left to play. This happened several times.I'm done playing. Not cool!

Advertising is relentless and extremely repetitive

I like the game itself and is a bit of fun, but no substitute for Scrabble. The issue I have is with advertising, some of which is extremely repetitive. I understand the concept of making money. But the ads are extremely excessive and there is no let up whatsoever. The ads pop up between every single move, not every game, every single move. Furthermore, they are not short. I generally close the ads immediately and reopen the game I am playing. It is now so bad that the wait between each play is as long as the ads themselves, often up to thirty seconds! A relative has the add free version which they paid for. I tried to buy that version several times to no avail. As I said I know they need to make money but maybe it is time to uninstall the app and play real scrabble again.

My issue is not with the game itself

My issue is not with the game itself, but rather with the pop up adds. These are from scam suppliers offering products at impossibly, and implausibly, low prices. WWF should take some responsibility for the companies that advertise its site

I notice you keep increasing the amount…

I notice you keep increasing the amount of pts I must achieve to get coins, well unless I play more games I will not do that. The reason being for several wks now I have had soo many vowels in some games & none or 1 in others? I find this very annoying & frustrating ! So much so that I shall play off the games I have &finish playing ,unless things change ! I am fed-up with it .

Don't bother

I don't seem to have the scammer problem that other have identified - perhaps because I am male and restrict my games to two close friends. In principle this game is great, in practice I completely hate it and, were it not for the two friends, would uninstall it.The free version is wall to wall adverts - both on the game screen and in between moves. The latter last up to 30 seconds and often require you to click away from two separate screens. This is worse than the worst TV advertising. It makes the games almost unplayable. And it has got far worse over the past year or two. I now frequently shut and reopen the app between moves becasue it is quicker than waiting. The pay version costs £10 per month. That is more than, for example, I pay for my phone, or for Netflix, or Spotify, or Amazon Prime. Apps with actual content or service. It is simply an outrageous charge for simple software which I will not pay on principle. A couple of £s per month would be fine, and reasonable value.I really wish someone would clone this game and make it more user-friendly or cost-effectve.

Love the game, going off the players .....

I’ve been playing the game for nearly 10 years and have seen a slow decline in the type of ‘friends’ I encounter. I have actually forged some decent virtual contacts with a few people, but in the last year have seen an influx of generously proportioned ‘ladies’ all asking the same questions within seconds of accepting a game with an offer to connect on ‘hangouts’. I sometimes have some fun with them, making up a profession or two, but it’s all become a little tawdry. I have left reviews with zynga but it’s plain they have no desire to deal with it, or maybe they simply can’t. I still love the game, but it has lost a bit of its sparkle.

WWF needs revamping.

How I wish someone would create a game like this, but aimed at serious adult word lovers! This game has serious inconsistencies. They warn that no proper nouns will be permitted, then allow, for example, Corey, the definition of which they give as a man’s name. They do not permit some foreign words which are well and truly part of everyday English, for example, oeuvre. They do not allow many valid words, full stop. They should concentrate on this rather than making up silly games, rewards etc which may appeal to someone of primary school age, no one else.Their whole raison d’etre seem to be maximising the amount of money they can make. This could be a wonderful game in the right hands. At present it is very disappointing.
