I use to love your products until I found out the truth about your products. I will never use your products again! How dare you use animals for testing your products! I tell everyone I know and I threw away your stinking nasty PFAS products. I’m sick of liars, cheaters and misinformation.
I was looking forward to trying the Fragrance FREE Firming Moisturizing Cream because I like natural ingredients. I purchased it on the Burt’s Bees website. At first use I liked it. It felt light, yet moisturizing, smooth and absorbed well. Second application I noticed an odor that reminded me of Windex! Still smells like Windex. How can a Fragrance Free product have an odor? I like the texture and the way it easily applies on my face. Guess I’m stuck using it. But will not be buying again.
Horrible customer service. They don't care about their customers at all. If you actually read the ingredients list on most of their products, they are not even a good, natural company as their entire image relies on, and which they even have a lawsuit against them for.
The products themselves are good, but the ordering on their website, order fulfillment and time to ship is so bad. Maybe re than one of my orders have taken 20+ days from the date I ordered to it coming in the mail Even though every item was showing in stock at the time of purchase. It took over 15 days for the items to ship at all.
I always thought a company like Burt's Bees would have a solid reputation, so I was surprised with my recent customer service experience with them. I've been using their lip products for about five years. They're not my absolute favorite products, but they do the job nicely enough, so I use them. Recently, I picked up a sealed Bee's Burt lip product at a local grocery store. The next day, when I opened up the product and tried to apply it, it had the consistency of a glue stick. It literally glommed onto my lips and felt really difficult to clean off. I wrote down the details from the packaging and then tossed the product straight into the garbage. It was unusable.The following day, I called Burt's Bees customer service, ready with all of the information I'd need in order to inform them of this quality issue. The representative barely reacted when I told her what happened. I even had to offer to give her the product number and codes and encourage her to look into it; let's just say it didn't feel promising.I was also surprised that she didn't apologize on behalf of the company and didn't express even the slightest empathy for the frustrating/disappointing experience and utter waste of my hard-earned money. In addition, she offered no replacement, complimentary discount, etc. I didn't expect or demand any of the above, but it's usually offered to me on the rare occasion that I have to call a company and courteously report a major quality issue to them.This wasn't the most horrendous experience, but the customer service response to a serious quality issue was a surprise and a disappointment. Consequently, I will most likely never buy another Burt's Bees product again.
