Review Time
I ordered a 70 cent part. Shipping was $20.00. Total invoice $20.70. I get a message from DHL that an $18.46 cent duty tax is due on the item. That is outrageous for a 70 cent item I refused to pay so I didn't get the part., I want a full refund including shipping.
Recently placed my first order with Creative Cables. Quality of what I received I great. Unfortunately, I did not receive everything I ordered and paid for. I received my package on a Friday and noticed I was missing three of my Fairleads and immediately emailed. Due to the weekend and the company being outside the US, I did not get a response until Monday. Not a big deal. The issue was I asked to take a picture of the box and packaging. I had spent the weekend installing the pieces, which look amazing, using screws as placeholders for the Fairleads. I explained this in a follow up email and took pictures of the installation with an explanation. I have yet to get a response. I would love to get my missing pieces so I can finish my project. In summary, products are amazing, customer service seems to be lacking. UPDATE: I got a very quick reply to my review here and have now replied to the email I was sent three times with no further correspondence from creative cables. Disappointing.
Fast shipping however the finish on the little rechargeable lamp has flaws around the charging port and the button to turn on the lamp. Something not expected for the price. And something that should have been easily caught in a quality check. Disappointing.
