JcPenney makes u call to allocate payments to non promotional balance. If u dont call they will not apply money to interest bearing charges so that u can pay interest. So although I made the purchase and it shows shipped they will not allocate the payment because their system is slow and basically told me to pay again. You have to watch them closely. I did buy a few items as promotional and have to pay off before closing the account but I plan to close the acct. They are not worth the aggrevation and syncrony bank customer service is rude and not helpful
You will NOT get your online order. I have waited OVER A WEEK to receive an item I purchased online and has been delayed in transit. A delay that their shipping partner caused by sending it BACK to the state it originated from! Customer service is useless and unhelpful. Their shipping partner, UPS, is just as big of a joke as JCPenny's is.
Whoch UPS holds contracts with ICE. Another reason to NOT give my money to JCP EVER AGAIN!
I feel JCP deserves the Target Treatment.

I wish I could give zero stars. The customer service is appalling, and I received no assistance. I was connected to representatives who did not speak English well. This is frustrating, especially in America! They refused to honor rewards at the photo studio, despite my previous successful experiences. I will not return to this store; it would be better if they closed down. Treating customers better is essential for staying in business.
I placed an online order that I was told I could pick up today. When I arrived, the item was not available, and I found it in the store but couldn't buy it at the sale price. I was unable to give my niece her Christmas gift, which left me very disappointed.
They shipped a package that UPS claimed was delivered, but it never arrived. I received the runaround from the company regarding a refund for the missing part of my order. After spending hundreds, I tried to return four items without a receipt, thinking the digital system would help. Unfortunately, they couldn't find my account or purchases. After 15 minutes, they finally located some items, but the tag scans didn't work. The manager's response was simply, 'Good for them.' This lack of service is unacceptable, and I won't be shopping here often.
