I have been using Lomo as my water sports equipment supplier for 15 years now and can’t praise their range, quality and price of products enough. Their customer service is first class too! Normally, you only get what you pay for, however, Lomo’s exceptionally keen prices have no bearing on the quality of their products. Contrary to Lomo, other manufacturers charge the usual exorbitant prices for a far lesser quality. I have a whole array of Lomo equipment and other than expected wear and tear, I have not once had a Lomo product fail on me.My equipment ranges from a renegade dry suit (which I’ve been using regularly for the past 15 years) to dry bags, rucksacks, aqua boots and just about everything else in between. I also transitioned (a number of years ago) from the euro paddle to the Lomo carbon fibre Greenland paddle and absolutely love it. It is incredibly light, strong and very comfortable and costs a fraction of the price compared to other manufacturers.Lomo equipment has been keeping me safe and comfortable on the water for years and I can take to the water in confidence, knowing that my Lomo equipment “will do exactly as it says on the tin”I would highly recommend Lomo as a manufacturer and supplier.
Avoid like the plague. Purchased a wall mount kayak rack, it failed on first use. Followed installation instructions to the letter, Lomo declined my request for a replacement, blaming incorrect installation. It failed in two places, further investigation seems others experienced the same issues. Never purchasing from Lomo again and regret not reading these reviews beforehand. Terrible product and appalling customer service.
I bought a pair of pre-bent kayak trousers in April 2023. The stitching has come undone on the knee pad and the left seat area has disintegrated and worn through after about 10 wears. That is unacceptable wear for such a small number of uses. They won't replace them as say its fair wear and tear... . I think the fabric is faulty as I have had the same sort previously which lasted years. Very disappointing customer service. I like to support local business but not if the stuff is poor quality.
I ordered a cycling top which came with a faulty zip!I emailed customer service asking for a returns label. Only to be told to email them a picture of said faulty zip so they said they could look at it. I said I wasn't able to do that but I could whatsapp them a picture. Nothing... I have emailed them again saying the item is faulty and would like a refund, Nothing for 3 weeks now.. Do not use this company is my advise.
