Uygar was the perfect host and tour guide in Cappadocia. Extremely knowledgeable, kind and mannered. He also coordinated travel, lodging, restaurants and the Istanbul activities.I would recommend his services and his tours to everyone. 5 stars for sure.
We just finished our Turkey tour with Flo Tours. Sitting in the hotel lobby in Istanbul waiting for our ride to the airport. Everything was marvelous , outstanding. I had some concerns since have never used Flo Tours before, they are an tour operator. But it all went very well, all our itinerary requests were satisfied exactly, trip was well organized. Turkey is a beautiful country, people are friendly, service is excellent. We highly recommend Flo Tours.
Recently completed a 37 day trip to Stans, Caucuses and Istanbul which was absolutely wonderful and extremely well managed by FloTours. This trip had great complexity with 8 border crossings, multiple trips by plane, train and bus and of course new guides and drivers in each country. We have no recollection of disruption in anyway - it simply went very smoothly including at hotels and restaurants. The hotels were amongst the best available and we particularly liked fact they were located close to the center of activity and did not require wasted time in transport, though the buses used were all modern and comfortable. Meals were excellent with only challenge being to avoid overeating. The guides selected were all very personable English speakers who knew their country history, addressed any questions posed and introduced us to some out of the ordinary sites and individuals in local communities. Support from the FloTours office, in particular that of Mesut, was probably the best we have ever experienced. Messages and emails, both prior to booking and during trip, were addressed within hours and he stood ready to accommodate in whatever way possible. Over the course of multiple overseas adventures we have used many of the larger and bigger name international travel companies and without hesitation we would rate FloTours up at the top.
It was a fantastic trip, The experience of a life time. The trip was a modified three Stans to a two Stans.Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.Very informative on the history and culture of Uzbekistan. The guide in Uz was very good.The food was also good, but we spend too much time for lunch, we do not need four course meal for lunch every day. Shorter lunch and more free time would be appreciated.
Our trip to Central Asia (the Stan’s) was everything we hoped it would be. Flo Tours stayed in constant communication with us both before and during the trip. Mesut paid attention to detail and got us through the visa process and all airport pickups and departures. The guides were fantastic - steeped in local history and tradition, knowledgeable, experienced, willing to go the extra mile to give us the best experience, friendly and attentive. They were good problem solvers and worked constantly to make any of the travel blips along the way right. The drivers were also experienced and helpful with all luggage transfers. All the hotels, restaurants and activities had been thoroughly researched and vetted based on previous traveler feedback. There was great value for the cost of the trip. I would definitely recommend and travel with Flo Tours again.
Thank you for a great trip to the 4 Stans, Mesut! The guides were on their feet, literally and figuratively, always willing to help! They were well-informed and proactive (sharing here just the first letters of their names- F, R, A and V ), ensuring we had as many experiences of the sites and cuisine. Our various drivers were very helpful too, thank you, all! 😊Hotels were well-chosen, barring our room in Karakol, but we coped, as it was only for one night and we didn't wish to fuss about it. We did wonder if we missed sampling other local dishes for lunch and dinner, especially for vegetarians, but whatever we ate was good too. Shorter lunch breaks would allow us more sightseeing time. Some museum tours, we felt, were a bit rushed. It has definitely been a worthy tour, and we have already recommended the company to friends! Thank you, Mesut and team Flotours! 👏🏼
