Review Time
I ordered 7 items from this company. It turned out that they never had the 2 items I really needed even though one of them just went on sale (???). I got an e-mail saying 2 items were canceled but nothing showed in e-mail what they were. I had to wait to via chat for like 15 minutes to find out what they were. Then... when the other items were shipped, they ended up charging me for the canceled items!!! Had to go on chat again to get my money back for those 2 items. Even though employees are nice via chat, they are very slow in answering your question or concern. The internet side of the company seems to be extremely poorly run. Physical store is probably nice, employees were professional, but internet shopping experience was disastrous and disappointing :(
Ordered and paid for 1 ton of cattle cubes on the 17th of July and was told that they would be delivered on the 22nd and that the store would hold them with my name on them for pick up on the 24th. Drove 80 miles to pick them up today (24th) and was told they had none in stock but a load is to be delivered after 3PM today. That was 9:30 am. Was told they would call me when product was in and I could come back to pick them up. That entailed a 5 hr wait or an additional 160 miles to return for the cubes. No other solutions were offered to resolve the issue. After a bit of silence, I asked for a refund. Be assured that with that type of service, I will question my willingness to return as I have several other options that provide good service.
Today after a mandatory 24 hour mandatory wait time by the sales clerk, i was able to pick up my order, simply because he didn't want to take the time to fill out the ATF transfer form because i didn't purchase my pistol form murdoch's and had it shipped to them (very unprofessional) I was assisted today by two very polite and helpful sales clerks whom took the very simple short steps to fill out the necessary paperwork and further assist in selling me the proper ammo.
I made the mistake of going here buy ammo and mags for a new riffle I just purchased. I just bought a 6.5 rifle to go hunting with and went to Murdock as I had been buying quite a bit of products for my ranch from. I went to the gun department and looked at their selection and found the 6.5 boxes of ammo. They had about 20 brands. I picked 4 of the mid range priced and paid a whopping 200.00 for it and speaking with the salesman got 4 mags as well. Well I got home and went to set things up and nothing fit. I went online and found they make two sizes of 6.5 . Wth ?. Ok. Well mine is apparently what they called a grendal. Which is supposedly a shorter round than creedmore. Now creedmore is all they had so I had no clue… the sales man didn’t say a thing . But they won’t take the sealed boxes back at all. I walk in with my riffle in its carry case on my back and my bag of ammo and mags with the receipt in it and go to the first register to check in, Right away I’m suddenly being treated like a leper ..I’m stuck there for 15 minutes I’ll never get back … until some one from the gun department shows up. I’m then told they won’t take the ammo back… it’s printed on the receipt. Well if they had a sign up saying that I wouldn’t have purchased a dang thing , as I have brought back defective and wrong sized shells at other stores with no issues, So from now on no more money for Murdocks I’m taking all my Bussiness elsewhere and I recommend everyone to do the same
