They advertise their products as veterinarian formulated and approved. I have serious doubts about that. I purchased Tumflora for my dog's IBS and sent her straight to the emergency room within one day. She actually takes herbs for IBS prescribed by her veterinarian/nutritionist and she neve had any issues. These herbs are not safe and would not recommend if your pet has been diagnosed with IBS. I also purchased Alge-Ex and have not opened because I do not want to end up at the ER again. After I explained all the above, they are still not alerting other pet owners about this experience...and they want to refund 50% of the unopened product. I am not going to bother...sending to the trash. Be aware that these products might hurt your pets.
After our little friend passed away, we had 7 unopened / sealed products (Cancer Fighter Pack, Immune Boost) and this company refused to accepte to take back 7 sealed bottles (about $382.79) because of a sale event. When we aked where the information was written and why it was not clearly shown during our purchase, the company sent us a link that proves that a crutial information were not clearly accessible to customer to make an informed purchase. As a matter of fact, we did not like the way this Canadian company is doing business, especially after many purchases to support our little friend. By the fact its making crucial information hard to find in order to refuse a refund to customer following a loss. Our trust in this company is broken because the way it conducts business and its categorical refusal to let us talk to a superviser in order to find a financiary compromise.For one product bought full price ($30), they made us pay the return, plus more than 15% restock fees and they want to refund about $5. A bottle they are going to resell full price, so 200% profit on one product. Speechless.
I ordered thyroid meds, but then took my dog to get. She was diagnosed with lymphoma. Canceled order same day, they ignored my cancellation. Now 4 days later they send shipping notice. If their customer service is a zero, I'm sure there products are. Do not buy from them. WARNING WARNING!!!!
NHV products can make your pet sicker & co. offers zero refunds & erases neg. reviews!I got 4 diff products to help cats build up immune system re: their health issues. Products all stated would do this and clearly stated all products can be used together without any side effects. I opened all 4 products, giving only 1/2 dose to start & it caused projectile vomiting in all cats. I went to site to post my honest neg. review and it was immediately erased when I hit submit (NHV gave no reply as to why). Explains why ONLY POSITIVE reviews on their site & when I did searches saw others post their neg. reviews were removed as well. Also found that Amazon isn't allowing them to sell with them anymore either & reviews were only 3.5 stars (while NHV's site is ONLY ALL 5 stars!?) NHV's response told me to see my vet if cats have illnesses as their products don't cure =I didn't buy to cure, I bought to help build up immune etc. as products stated. I KNOW what my cats have or I wouldn't have known what to buy & my cats NEVER had PROJECTILE VOMITING before giving sm. dose of their product which cats also HATE taste of so good luck having to force feed their 'herbal mixes' down their throats in the first place! NHV offers 'no refunds on open bottles' & sealed returns get BOTH WAY ship cost w/15% restock fee deducted! Contradictory to what website says: that all products can be given together w/o side effects, NOW they tell me to 'give only 1 at time' =had they of stated THAT on site I never would have opened ALL 4 bottles which exp. after ONLY 6 mo! If dosing all separate, all will exp before use! I lost close to $200 on 4 now open useless bottles. Co. claims they are in the bus. to help pets, yet won't stand behind what they sell at all, posts misinformation that products ok to give together then changes mind if your pets do get side effects! and instigates lies by banning any neg. honest reviews, while only refunding unopened product less 2 way ship and 15% restock costs! My cat was diagnosed with diabetes and they said her prognosis was grim even with compliance and I was to give her a needle every 12 hours. I did some research and found these products and she gets four supplements which is a part of a diabetes kit and a multi-essential. One other item, a blood sugar lower from pet well-being. It's almost a year and my cat's blood work has improved. She is out of the danger zone and no longer considered diabetic so opposed to giving a Western medicine with tons of side effect and shooting her up with a needle twice a day which is not a good quality of life. She was able to heal every things that are found in nature that are safe and no side effects. We honestly thought our cat was going to die and we were discussing having lap of love come to send her over the rainbow bridge and that was in June so I couldn't be more happy and pleased with the products offered from this company
We had used this company's feline thyroid(Resthyro), milk thistle, and turmeric supplement which were all wonderful and generated great results. However, my cat is recovering from pancreatitis and she was doing fairly well. She was vocal, social and there wasn't any vomiting or diarrhea. She needed a boost to get over that last hurdle for recovery so I tried their pancreas product, Mellit. I gave her the dose recommended(0.5ml) by their Vet after answering questions about my cat's age, weight and condition. Two hours after taking her first dose my cat was vomiting and had the diarrhea. She also wasn't feeding herself, was hiding and no longer vocal. My cat hadn't had any of these issues until starting this new supplement by NHV. So we immediately went back to the previous supplement(which was a small dose). Her diarrhea was still present and totally liquid(no color whatsoever). When I reached out the NHV they said it takes 2-3wks(using their product) to see improvement, but use a smaller dose. Who wants to take that chance with a senior cat? She still has the diarrhea and so we tripled the dose of her previous supplement. She was taking this large dose 2months ago and had improved like I mentioned earlier. So she has regressed from taking this supplement of theirs. FYI: I wonder if my cat became ill due to the fact that she does NOT have diabetes. She only needs help boosting her enzymes/pancreas function.Today is Day5 and my fur baby, who is an 18yo girl still has the diarrhea. The color & viscosity has returned once again. I believe she will make it through. Just have to keep a close eye on her & keep her on the previous supplement at a higher dose. NHVnaturalpetproducts refuses to stand behind their products and will not issue a refund for me regardless of our situation. So we will be returning to the other companies who have helped my girl recover this far. They stand behind their products and issue refunds when things don't work out. Trying something new isn't worth it. Buyer Beware! Check returns policies before ordering. It says a lot about a company. The company we went back to has a wonderful guarantee.Update:It is Day 24 and my furbaby STILL has the diarrhea.
The first time I gave the prebiotics / probiotics to my cat within hours he had a massive haemorrhage and lost his sight. He never recovered it and died last week. The original purchase was made using Paypal pay in 3 with the dispute being declined as the product was received even though within a couple of hours of giving it he went blind and had a massive haemorrhage. The NHV website also says that unopened products can be returned within 60 days but then says they exclude international purchases and they are non returnable and non refundable so you do not have any protection even though in Oscar's case he had already died after being given the probiotic so the Maris was never used. The probiotic does not show any reviews on their website that I could see. I would like to warn others as I would not want others to suffer what Oscar did. The experience with this company when using Paypal was made even worse, which is quite remarkable given that Oscar is dead which is pretty unbearable to start with. No reviews for the prebiotic could be seen on their website for it. Avoid like the plague if you have any sense if I could give it zero stars I would. 22.12.23 is the purchase date.
Few weeks ago I ordered Feline NHV Flora and paid them incl.shipping to Switzerland $ 150. Worthless product no whatsoever results quite contrary cat started to frequently vomit and have diharea . I trushed it to garbadge. Then contacted them in Canada to complain instead they sent me to their Singapore agent who uses copy/paste Net info in order to even mislead you more . Finally they offered me 15 minutes free chat online but also this was a lie in fact they will charge your credit card . Stay away from this terrible company
