I was not informed at the time of purchase that I was creating an automatic renewal for knife sharpening. There is no opt-out unless I guess you order and then cancel. Not professional and unethical. So their solution is to send me envelopes since I'm tricked into doing business with them. Not going to happen. Clearly, they rely on this trick to stay in business.
My knives are gone! Sharpenters provided an envelope that ruptured during transit and all of the knives were lost. The Company freely admits that this problem has occurred in the past yet they continue to claim that the provided envelope is sufficient to transport knives. Worse, Sharpenters did not offer to replace the knives and was quick to blame the USPS and directed me to some fine print on their website. Terrible customer service. Do yourself a favor and use someone local and stay away for this company!
I am a professional oboe player. Oboists use highly specialized beveled reed knives to make oboe reeds. The angle and evenness of the bevel is imperative. After months of use, it has to be re-established.Sharpenters clearly understood the issue and did an absolutely gorgeous job re-surfacing my knives. Thank you, Sharpenters!
