I am beyond thrilled with the experiences I've had thus far with Voyage Media. I just recently had my project become a Voyage Original, and I can't wait to see how far we can take it. There are no guarantees, and everyone at Voyage was always very upfront about that, but even if my project doesn't get picked up, I'm always going to be grateful for everything I learned while working with Voyage. As a writer, my projects have always been novels and short stories. Screenplays were a foreign entity from another dimension. But not anymore!I went in to my partnership with Voyage eager to learn, and after getting the green flag from a producer to be the primary writer on my own screenplay, I took that as a chance to invest in myself and a new skillset. I learned so much from my project producer Michael Chamoy about screenwriting, and he helped me develop and fine tune the script from start to finish. We ended up with a pilot script that is ready to go to market, and I'm very proud to be able to say that my first ever screenplay is now being shopped around Hollywood by a team that not only has the connections for that, but also believes in the project alongside me. That's huge. I could never have done that without Voyage Media. So, while there's no guarantee this particular project will be picked up by a studio, I now have an entirely new form of storytelling to use in the future, and a nice boost of confidence from the invaluable feedback and encouragement I got from people who know the industry inside and out.
I had little knowledge of the film industry when I first started working with Voyage Media. I was also skeptical and wondered if this was a scam. I had been told by some people that I should not have to pay anyone to be noticed or to get a movie made from my book. Unfortunately, unless you are a best-selling author with a best-selling book, it is hard to get your work noticed, especially by the movie industry. I had no connections of my own, but I have learned that Voyage Media has the connections that I lacked. So, I decided to take the risk, and it was work it.I have spent a year working with a wonderful producer, Ilyssa Goodman. I have found her to be sincere and honest about my work. She has been a delight to work with and has always been open to my input and suggestions about how to transform my story into a movie. It has been an awesome collaborative experience working with her, and I have come to believe in her. I have also had the pleasure to work with Dan Benamor who helped me make a podcast, and with Johnny Harrington, my screenplay writer. Johnny did an excellent job on the screenplay, putting his heart and soul into it, and has always been open to my thoughts and suggestions.Voyage Media never gave me any guarantees of success, and I have come to learn that there are no guarantees that anyone can give in this industry. This has been an amazing learning experience and has re-awakened my creativity. I highly recommend Voyage Media for anyone who believes that their work deserves a fair shot at becoming a successful movie.
Hello, I contacted voyage midia from a. Instagram add. Thankfully I saw the reviews before contacting them. I am a author, so I have seen scams before. Please know no one will ever charge you money to produce your script. They pay you for the right to pitch your script. Red flag oneThey advise on social midia. Their are so much more authors than producers that they would never need to advise.Red flag 2Their sight garintees that they can get you a meeting, and script produced, they are likely scamers.Red flag 3If they say something big like "you might win am Oscar" or "I can get you a bill board in times square" they are most definitely scammers. In short, I was hoping to gain some film connections toward an eventual goal, but if they garintee anything.... they are likely smammers. I will tell you one of their secrets. They always say it's 800 but it's down on sail from 3000. This is a tactic they all use. Don't trust people from instagram ads.
Pure serendipity that I found Voyage Media on IG. I signed up to the Zoom call, later pitched my story, and was given a choice of three Thriller Producers matching my story genre. After choosing LA Producer Franchesca Lantz, I paid for an hour of her time, where I pitched my story again on a call, and was offered the opportunity to develop it. I have to say that the whole process with Voyage Media has been incredibly nice and supportive - totally ‘unHollywood’ which I mean in a good way. Everyone at Voyage has been extremely welcoming and gracious, including my Producer, Franchesca, of whom I am immensely fond of.My work is still in progress, but it is to be expected as I have never written a screenplay before, nevertheless, don’t let that scare you! If you have a story burning away at your soul, then may I politely suggest that you give Voyage Media a try, you will get so much support and kindness, and perhaps find a new career path? Voyage has sold lots of screenplays from newbies, so why shouldn’t it be you?Highly recommend!
This was a whole new experience for me and I felt very well taken care of every step of the way. And I learned so much about the movie industry along the way. My film script is now ready and the thought of seeing my story on the screen is Very Exciting! So if you have a story to tell, I highly recommend doing the process through Voyagemedia.com. you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. And they hold your hand through every step with open and transparent communication. Eva Bjertnes
For me this has been an interesting journey and a valuable professional experience. I've enjoyed working and partnering with the professionals affiliated with Voyage Media. Voyage Media took a project based on my book,"SOC, Welcome to The Cage" that I had been working on for 10 years, and helped me by working closely with me and showing me the process it takes to fully develop content for possible film, television, and podcast.I found Nat Mundel and his staff very professional and knowledgeable in terms of what it takes to develop your project from start to finish. We are on our way to becoming an Original, and this has been a fun ride!FHjr.
This has been an interesting journey and a valuable professional experience. I've enjoyed meeting and partnering with the professionals affiliated with Voyage Media. Breaking into this business is incredibly difficult, however, the folks at Voyage Media are at least giving me a "puncher's chance" for success. The process of drafting a screenplay to get it "shopping" worthy is arduous and daunting, but thanks to the excellent coaching and feedback that I received from my producer, Koji Steven Sakai, it has been well worth it. I have learned and grown so much as a screenwriter due to his mentoring. I truly appreciate Voyage Media's support and encouragement during this process as well. Shout out to producer Brian McLaughlin, who shepherd my start on this journey, and to all of those who continue to work with me as we move forward to get this project "in the can."
While researching ghost writers an advertisement for Voyage Media came up on my feed over a year ago. As with 99% of social media ads I was more than skeptical. I signed up and joined the first call which seemed valid. Signed up for the next phase for a very nominal fee. I have spent more on fad internet diets than the fee! During a group call of writers, story tellers and creatives I thought for sure I was way out of my league. But something told me to move on. Then came the call with Nat Mundel. I think I grilled him harder than the FBI could have! It took many questions that were all answered honestly and easily by Nat for me to move on to Pitch a Producer. My biggest concern was that Voyage just took your money whether or not they thought your project had merit. Nat vehemently assured me that that was not the case, that they do turn down clients and are very specific about the clients they choose to work with.I picked Ilyssa Goodman as my producer. Not an easy task sorting through photos, genres, accomplishments, almost a needle in a haystack, however, I managed to connect with a producer who "gets me" and my story.Voyage is adamant about communication and production timelines. There is a protocol for how your producer works with you and that is followed up by your team, Kaitlyn and Regine among others.Great, now the story is together, producer did a fantastic job, now we need a screenwriter. Ilyssa chose Kelli and sure enough, Kelli "gets me" as well.We reviewed and tweaked until all three of us were satisfied. Again, communication was continuous with Kelli and Ilyssa always telling me what was next, what I had to look forward to. My finished screenplay is now in Ilyssa hands for her to get it out in the market. I anxiously await any news, knowing that this process will be a very long one.I wholeheartedly recommend Voyage Media, Nat Mundel and his well-chosen very professional team to help you bring your project to life. Yes, it will cost money. You will know upfront as you go along exactly what the fees are, and you always have the option to move forward or not. One look at their body of work that they have taken to production was all I needed to assure me I was in great hands with Voyage.
Exceptional Experience with Voyage MediaMy experience working with the Voyage Media team has been nothing short of outstanding. As an author, the journey of adapting my book into a potential TV show felt both exciting and daunting, but the incredible team at Voyage made the entire process seamless and inspiring.Working with producer Adam Prince has been a true highlight. His insight, support, and creative vision have been exceptional. I also had the pleasure of collaborating with scriptwriter Alexandra Christensson, who transformed my story into something truly powerful and screen-ready.From Nat to Christina, Kaitlyn, and Regine, every team member has been professional, encouraging, and a joy to work with. Their collective dedication and passion for storytelling shine through in everything they do.I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and feel incredibly grateful to have had such a talented team on this journey. I’m excited about what’s ahead and can’t wait to see my book brought to life on the screen!
I had a story, a long held dream to be a writer and less than no knowledge of how to put them together, or if I was any good!I have been burnt by the Self Publishing world and was extremely sceptical when I found Voyage Media. After much research I found Nat Mundel's honest integrity, clothed in a dream to become a safe bridge, for someone like me to explore dreams, captivated me.My gut said yes my brain said no.I 'Pitched a Producer', understanding nothing of the process, and their professionalism astounded me.I went on and signed up for the Professional Program, The Incubator.Voyage assigned me Producer Jennifer Aspen and we began. The past 3 years (yeah it took me that long) have been a rollercoaster ride of almost crippling self doubt, medical emergencies and natural disasters. But all throughout EVERYONE associated with my program cheered me on to keep going. I was and still am, awed by their support.Jennifer Aspen is a truly amazing woman. She guided me to understand how to hone a storyline, create depth to my characters and to understand more about the technical side of story telling. All the while peeling back the layers to find the true heart of my screenplay. I am indebted.Nat Mundel's integrity and belief that 'Everyone deserves a fair shot', in my opinion, is not just 'money making lip service' but a true to his word, honest belief, that flows through the whole company. I now have a completed screenplay and a little more confidence in my writing. Time to explore the options Voyage Media have to take it further and begin the next chapter!
