Review Time
I placed an order for some prototype parts on December 11, 2025. I was informed that the order required prints and couldn't be processed until I uploaded them. However, the platform wouldn't allow me to upload prints since the quote had already been processed as an order. So, I created a duplicate order, this time including the necessary prints. About a week later, I received an unexpected notification that my original order was preparing to ship. I quickly reached out to the representative to request the cancellation of the duplicate order. For nearly two weeks, I received conflicting responses via email, followed by another shipment notification for my second order. Shortly after, I was informed that canceling the second order at this point would incur an additional $430 fee. With so many alternatives available for rapid prototyping, I will opt for a different service in the future.
it took about two months and two attempts for them to finally decide that they were unable to make the part. then they sent the refund to the wrong party, not me. and i informed them of all of this and they don't respond unless i chase them around. and when they do respond it's always "i'm sorry there is nothing we can do". so i'm giving up, writing this review, and having my attorney look at the situation, cuz i think their payment to a third party (which they claim but i can't see) doesn't resolve or address my claim against them that they never produced the part.2025-10-20 update:dear xometry:i provided the extra information that you requested on october 12 on the same day that you requested it and i haven't heard from you since. and today my attorney has replied and says that if you can provide verifiable proof of the refund to the third party then we can use that proof to have a claim against the third party and that also satisfies any claim that we have directly with you. the verifiable proof would include enough tracking information that i could call one of the intermediate banks and verify that the money was actually refunded. and if you are unable to provide that proof or didn't refund the money, the attorney says we have a solid claim against you. would you like to and are you able to provide me with the proof of refund?
This was my first time ordering a CNC machined part. The order process was simple and very easy to understand. I was given a number of manufacturing options and I chose international. I received emails to keep me updated with status and in no time I received my part. It was exactly what I ordered. I'm very happy with the final product.
