Very disappointing experience with Yescapa as a platform.
During a rental dispute, Yescapa confirmed in writing that a reimbursement was due to us. However, when the owner refused to comply, the platform failed to enforce its own assessment or provide effective mediation.
We contacted Yescapa before returning the vehicle to ask for guidance and protection, received no clear response, and returned the van in good faith. The owner proposed a very small reimbursement but then decided not to pay it, and despite this, Yescapa closed the case without ensuring a fair resolution.
In addition, Yescapa is extremely difficult to contact: reaching them by phone appears to be impossible, and email responses (when they come at all) take a very long time. This lack of accessibility made an already stressful situation even worse.
This experience showed a serious lack of consumer protection and accountability when problems arise. The platform works only if everything goes perfectly, if something goes wrong, you are left on your own.
We would not recommend relying on Yescapa in dispute situations.

Our reservation was canceled at the last minute, just before New Year’s Eve, causing significant stress during an already hectic and costly time. We were promised assistance in finding an alternative vehicle, but received no support. Consequently, we had to book a hotel for the night and arrange a much more expensive vehicle at the last moment, leading to extra costs. We are still waiting for our refund despite multiple follow-ups, and our request for a gesture of goodwill has been ignored. The handling of this serious disruption has been very disappointing.
I have never experienced such unacceptable service. I arrived late at night with two small children after a long flight, only to find that the campervan I had fully paid for in advance never showed up. What made it worse was the complete lack of response from the company — no calls, no messages, no support. We were left stranded at the airport at night with children, with nowhere to go. This is not just a service failure; it is dangerous negligence. This experience ruined our Christmas vacation and caused immense stress for me and my children. I strongly caution others, especially families, to think carefully before booking with this company.
