We had always used Enterprise without problems, but this office at Barcelona Airport is completely unacceptable.
We made a reservation under my wife’s name, and when we arrived, they demanded a document with her address—something we were never informed about and is impossible for us since we live in Germany. We offered reasonable alternatives, but the employee refused to help, completely shut down, accused us of being hostile when he was the one behaving aggressively, and even threatened to call security.
We asked to speak with the supervisor who was present, and he never showed up or made the slightest effort to help us. His attitude was rigid, unhelpful, and completely unprofessional. We lost time, patience, and trust. I will never use Enterprise again, and I cannot recommend this office under any circumstances.

Customer service is not responding

Customer service is not respondingI returned my car on time in Alicante and was charged for an extra day. I reached out to customer service 3 times via chat, and they said they would contact me, but they didn't. I reached out to the customer.service at enterprise.es, and they haven't responded at all. I sent them reminders every month for 3 months, and no reply.

DON'T USE THESE GUYS.

DON'T USE THESE GUYS.Rip off merchants. First they try to give us an inferior car to the one we paid for. When we rejected this, they 'suddenly' found a similar car to the one we booked and 'miraculously' it was available and parked behind the vehicle they first tried to give us. This was the 'better' part.Upon returning the vehicle when the guy from enterprise inspected the vehicle and couldn't find any damage, he accused us of removing the hatch cover, the cover that covers your luggage when you close the boot. We showed him a pic of the family and our luggage stacked up in the boot beyond the headrest. Pic was in the carpark before we drove off. When we told him we didn't remove this cover, it wasn't there when we picked up the car he continued with accusation. we protested but the car company charged us $1500 Euro. These are get you in with the cheapest price and then clean you up by robbing you. AVOID

Booked an SUV in valencia for 4 days ended up with nothing

I Booked an SUV in valencia for 4 days but when arrived at the desk they would not accept either my revoult or bank of ireland credit cards, for which he gave the excuse that they do not accept cards from online banks, despite in the terms of the rental say they accept all Mastercard, visa and Amex cards. They then proceeded to offer us a lower tier car with the credit cards provided at which point I refused and walked away, with no rental recieved. I ended up having to rent a car from europcar which had no issue in accepting my cards but cost me an extra 550. I managed to get the refund from booking.com, but Recieved no word of apology from enterprise from what was, a disgraceful and unhelpful experience.

Don't want to accept credit cards

Booked a car through booking.com from enterprise at Valencia Airport. They wouldn't accept the first credit card because it was from an online bank so gave them another credit card from a high street bank and still wouldn't accept it. The staff member was very rude, obnoxious, didnt seem to know what he was doing, and could not give any valid reason why he wouldn't accept the credit cards although he did say he would accept the credit cards for another car we didn't want or ordered!!!Went to Euro car in the end with absolutely no problems.WILL NEVER USE ENTERPRISE AGAIN DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVIC!!!!

Quote in $CDN, invoice in EUROS

A bait and switch where they quote in your local currency and invoice in Euros. There were also a lot of surprise extra charges. The US customer service is terrible. No response to the first call and then an argumentative and rude agent on the second call two weeks later. He blamed "the Spaniards". AVOID!

Crooks

Crooks at Enterprise Alicante Airport. I wouldn't even give them 1 star. My son paid a lot of money for a car in advance online, assuming this would be the best way to secure a car he wanted. However when he arrived he was told he wasn't eligible for that class of car because he didn't have his credit card. So he was given a standard car that 'he didn't need his credit card for' but they couldn't refund the difference in cost because the person to do it was 'having a Siesta because of a special day' On returning the car he was then told he wasn't eligible for a car at all because he didn't have a credit card. And still no refund. They said the problem was his because he had paid in advance. He has been well and truly robbed. Complaining to Enterprise makes not one bit of difference except a lot of apologies, it has to be sorted out in branch it seems. And my son couldn't stand to argue in public, and is now home never to return.Be very careful. If you need to use them, never pay in advance, wait till you get there. They have lots of cars to go around even in peak season. But my advice would be go somewhere else, there are plenty of hire car companies to chose from.

I tried to rent a car in Sevilla

I tried to rent a car in Sevilla, in the Tomares office but was not able to do this since your employees constantly lie and pretend that there are silly conditions to fulfill. I will find the main office address in Spain and see how I can make you understand what your organisation actually does.your staff cheats lies abuses and vomits.

No Clear Information, No Help, Just Unexpected Charges

I’ve rented with Enterprise many times without issues, which is why I was shocked by the awful treatment I received at Madrid Airport after accidentally losing the car key.I immediately reported the loss to customer service, who instructed me to contact their insurance partner, RACE. After explaining the situation, RACE told me they were sending a taxi to take me to Madrid Airport to collect a spare key. I waited an hour for the taxi, only to arrive at the airport and be told by the Enterprise representative that, due to security protocols, no spare keys are kept on site. The representative then called RACE again and informed me that the procedure I had been told to follow was incorrect. Instead, in these cases the car must be picked up and taken to a depot — and I was told I needed to be physically present during the collection. This made no sense, as they were the ones who sent me to the airport in the first place. Luckily, a relative was able to wait with the vehicle for the roadside assistance team. At the desk, the Enterprise representative blocked €500 on my credit card, on top of the €200 deposit already held. The following week, I received a call from María José Mérida from Enterprise Madrid Airport, who advised me to contact yet another team to check the case status. Two days later, I received a copy of my agreement showing that €700 had been charged to my card, with no explanation or cost breakdown whatsoever.I contacted the Damage Recovery Unit to understand why losing a key cost €700. Luis Mas informed me that this was the “franchise” charge because I had not purchased additional roadside assistance. He also mentioned that I would receive an additional invoice for the actual key replacement. I requested a clear breakdown of the €700 charge — but received no response from either Luis Mas or María José Mérida.Overall, the process was chaotic, inconsistent, and completely lacking in transparency. After this experience, I will not be renting with Enterprise again.
