Having stayed with a host family for about six months, I can say they are some of the kindest, funniest, and most caring people I have ever met! The food is excellent, and it always feels very homely. There's plenty to do on weekends—no homesickness here! I've even grown fond of the pets, and it's always a joy being around their children.
