Their "Zestimates" make zero sense. For the last several months it went up or down every day or so. It was a small percentage, so it made sense. Now, for a few weeks, the amount has not changed at all...zero up or down.

Concerns about review policies

The platform does not allow negative reviews for realtors who advertise there. My spouse and I faced a scam with local realtors linked to the service. Since these realtors pay for advertising, only positive feedback is accepted, enabling dishonest practices. We tried submitting one-star reviews, but they were always rejected. The anonymous review system led these realtors to solicit fake positive reviews, misleading potential clients and allowing unethical behaviors to persist.

Steer clear of this platform

I strongly recommend not using this platform for selling your property as a 'For Sale By Owner.' Selling on your own is already stressful. The service makes it nearly impossible to manage your listing without a U.S. phone number, even for legitimate international owners. Communication is frustrating, voicemails go unanswered, and there is no real customer support. The verification process is confusing and rigid, creating unnecessary hurdles. Save yourself the trouble and explore other options.

Sudden listing issues

My property was unexpectedly listed as a post-foreclosure when it is not. After researching, I found that many homeowners have faced similar issues. As a senior, this has been incredibly upsetting. I reached out for assistance, but many have reported that corrections were not made, and even when they were, the errors recurred. It’s concerning that such serious inaccuracies are allowed. There needs to be accountability for the emotional distress caused by false information.

Unfair accusations from management

I rented a nice apartment and moved out with proper notice. I was wrongfully accused by property management of putting furniture out on the curb and causing damage to screens that were already there when I moved in.

Unprofessional communication

I found a house I wanted to see and filled out the contact form. I spoke with a realtor who promised to follow up, but after 2.5 days, I heard nothing. Then I was contacted about whether I received help, but after replying no, I was told another agent would reach out. That was 24 hours ago, and I still have not heard anything. I will NEVER use this platform again; my experience has been completely unprofessional.
