DANGER. Watch out for your security with this firm.I applied for a current account so I could put money into there higher interest savings account. Gave info through app and I.D. account approved. When I signed into Zopa App the linked account and Zopa account were other peoples with bank account details. Closed app and my application straight away
30th September - decided to open bank account due to the advertised interest rate.28th October - they still have not verified my documents. I've spoken to customer service on 2 separate occasions, each time having to repeat myself after being passed on to different "specialists". Based on this amateur set upI've decided not to trust them with my money.
Opening the savings account and Cash ISA account was simple and straightforward. However, trying to transfer my cash ISA was not. Zopa implied it was the fault of my current ISA provider but it eventually transpired that Zopa could only accept ISA transfers via one method. The method was advised via an email through which I had to obtain a code in order to read. I didi so once and now find I am unable to regain access so I'm unable to supply the method as I can't remember the exact name. Such a convoluted procedure I have now wasted a week during which I lost interest on my cash. Now I begin again with a company other that ZOPA.
