Incompetent and UnacceptableI had a Zopa ISA during the 2024–2025 tax year, and Zopa incorrectly informed HMRC that the interest I earned from my tax-free ISA was taxable. As a result, HMRC deducted money from my wages by adjusting my tax code and sent me an additional letter demanding even more — all because of Zopa’s error.This has caused me significant stress and wasted hours trying to resolve an issue that should never have happened. Zopa made no attempt to contact me about the mistake or offer any explanation or assistance.For a financial institution, this level of inaccuracy and lack of communication is completely unacceptable. I expected far better from a company that handles people’s savings and tax-sensitive accounts.
Zopa have been a great Credit Card company, from the outset Zopa have shown they value me as a Customer.
