Review Time
This program is unbelievably inept to the point that I am constantly checking my room for hidden cameras to see if it's all some elaborate joke or prank. The very fact that it requires an internet connection in order to edit files that are already saved locally on your computer is laughable and constantly causes issues. The program is unresponsive at worst and imprecise and buggy at best. Do not use this product. I sincerely hope that whoever developed this program has been fired and banned from the industry.
Microsoft's Cloud Bullshit
I used to love clipchamp, since it was good, but easy to use, but suddenly today, it forced me to either upload everything to OneDrive (wtf microsoft?!), or keep it on disk. At least, that's what the options looked like. What it actually said in Micropenis Slop was "Unless you use OneDrive, we will give you your projects in the most inconvenient format ever", so now I either A, lose everything, or B, take 5 hours looking through every video I didn't bother naming. Why didn't I bother naming them? Because there is a clear thumbnail of the first frame, and I just used that, since it was easier.
0/1000, Go use ANY OTHER VIDEO EDITOR!!!!
What a useless app! Even if I do manage to edit my videos it takes forever to render. If you're lucky to get the message "you're video is ready" it fails to upload to anything including YouTube, Google Drive, or my computer! It's as if the format is incompatible with everything! All these people in forums saying "it's so easy" must be employees of Microsoft or bots.

Clipchamp SUCKS.I have used Clipchamp for a few months, which means I'm pretty new. I was editing my video for a few months, right? It was going smoothly. I forgot about it for 2 weeks and made a couple new edits for fun. Just when I was about to edit back on the video, guess what? THE CLIPS DID NOT SAVE. Every single clip, overlays, and I mean EVERYTHING. When it was telling me to pick the original clips, there were MANY of the similar clips, so I couldn't find it. I tried to click every single clip that used to be in the edit in my folder, NOTHING WORKED. All of those clips I picked were in the edit, and it didn't approve my clips. I am NEVER using this butt software ever AGAIN.(I'm new to English so I'm sorry if you couldn't understand me)P.S. When I was writing a review, this moderation couldn't let me type "hard" and "on" together. What about that is inappropriate language? It just shows how hard I worked on my edit!
It's functionality randomly changes, such as the options for transitions between clips appearing and then disappearing, presumably because of constant server-side debugging and updating. Yes, both the browser and the desktop versions are unfortunately web based. As with most free Microsoft applications, this is another half-assed product with the user as a de facto beta tester. For a company obsessed with "user experience", Clipchamp is a trip through hell.
