Extremely unsatisfactory service experience

I had an extremely unsatisfactory service experience. At the end of my rental in Helsinki, I was directed to return the vehicle to a designated parking area. When I arrived, that location was already occupied. Without alternative guidance, I parked a short distance further down the street, acting in good faith. Others had parked similarly without issue. Despite this, I received a parking ticket and was charged €150, including administrative costs. I tried explaining the circumstances multiple times via email and even had a Finnish friend reach out, but there was no response. Months later, I received a notice threatening debt collection for the invoice. I felt forced to pay, not because the matter was resolved, but to avoid additional stress and costs. There was a complete lack of communication, no willingness to reconsider the situation, and pressure through debt collection instead of customer support. I will not choose this service again.

Efficient car rental in Finland

Efficient car rental in Finland. I easily picked up the car at midnight using their app. The vehicle was new, clean, and functioned well. The price was also a plus.

Highly disappointing rental experience

I had a highly disappointing rental experience. At the end of my rental in Helsinki, I was instructed to return the vehicle to a specific parking area. When I arrived, that spot was already taken. With no alternative instructions provided, I parked a few meters further down the same street, believing it was acceptable. Others had parked similarly without issue. However, I was issued a parking ticket, and the company charged me €150, including administrative fees. I explained the situation multiple times via email, even with a Finnish friend contacting them, but I received no response or resolution. Months later, I got a threat that the invoice would go to a debt collection agency. I felt forced to pay, not because the situation was handled fairly, but to avoid further stress and costs. There was a lack of communication, no willingness to review a reasonable situation, and pressure through debt collection instead of customer service. I will not rent here again.

No communication or contact

I didn’t receive any email regarding my reservation. When I tried to contact support, there was no one available, and the website login didn’t work. If I don’t receive an email or my money back, I will have to contact the authorities.

Straightforward rental process

Straightforward rental process with no scams. We rented a car last minute in Rovaniemi. All necessary information was in the rental agreement. I read many comments about issues with the security deposit, but I received a full refund within the 14 days they mentioned. As long as you adhere to the contract terms—like not exceeding mileage and cleaning the car before returning—there are no problems.

Completely unprofessional service

In December 2024, I rented a car and faced major issues. We arrived late, and after driving just 10 meters, the car was bumping. There seemed to be a problem with the rear wheel, but it was late and snowy, making it difficult to identify. The next morning, I discovered the rear left tire was heavily worn and not round. Naturally, I didn’t want to drive with my kids in that condition, so I notified the company and asked if I could take it to a shop for a tire change. They approved this and arranged the repair. However, weeks later, they sent me a bill for the repair. I couldn’t believe it. I took the car for repair on my vacation time, and now they were trying to charge me! I asked them multiple times to contact the previous renter, but nothing happened. They are now threatening court and debt collectors. My advice: avoid this company entirely. I've never been more disappointed in any service.

“Initially scammed, then resolved”

I initially felt scammed after booking a car and having my money deducted, but the subsequent steps via email didn’t work. Their mobile site was malfunctioning, and I received no messages as promised. I requested a refund as I couldn’t access the car. After persistent emailing and posting a review, I finally received a response fixing the mobile site issue, allowing me to use the service, albeit with much difficulty. It was a unique experience that I would not want to repeat! An easy contact number or a WhatsApp business option would greatly help customers.

Feels like a credit card scam

I paid for a car reservation, and everything went downhill from there. When trying to log in, I didn’t receive the OTP. The verification email led to a looping request for my phone number and OTP. Their customer support was unhelpful, stating there was no active reservation. The email they sent me with a number didn’t work either. I’m at a loss on how to get a refund since I can’t contact anyone.

Thought I was cheated at first

I initially thought I was cheated: I couldn’t contact anyone, and the reservation email lacked details. The online app didn’t work on my phone, leaving me without a means to reach support. Excellent service from friendly staff

I received excellent service from friendly and helpful staff! Initially, I was given a car without a functioning satnav, which was frustrating since I had specifically ordered a late model vehicle. However, when I returned the car, the situation was handled professionally, and I was provided with a new vehicle. Additionally, I was impressed with the compensation offered for the initial inconvenience. I will definitely use this service again!
