I feel increasingly disheartened by our society. Employers insist on certain qualifications, yet these organizations fail to deliver adequate service. How can such poor performance be tolerated in the certification field? Who gave these entities the authority to certify others when they clearly lack competence? This qualification seems to signify our desperation for jobs, leading us to acquire yet another useless credential from a failing organization. It's time for governments to intervene and revoke licenses from those who do not deserve them. They represent some of the most dishonest individuals you can encounter.
Every day, I become more appalled by the society we've built. Employers demand certain qualifications while these entities fail to provide even basic service. How can such inadequacy exist in the certification field? Who allowed them to certify others despite their incompetence? What does this qualification really prove, except our desperation for jobs that leads us to obtain yet another worthless credential from a clearly failing organization? I truly believe it's time for governments to step in and revoke licenses from those who shouldn't have them. They are among the most dishonest people you can find.
I am formally complaining about my inability to receive adequate support regarding a crucial professional question: whether I need to keep holding a practicing certificate. Despite numerous attempts to reach out to the relevant teams through the official channels, I have had no success. My experience is summarized as follows: I have made several calls to the main contact number, but often the calls are disconnected. When they do connect, I am routed to an outsourced call center that cannot provide technical advice. I submitted a query via the portal, but the response merely directed me to email another team, without resolving my issue. There is no direct contact number for that team. I have spent considerable time trying to explain my situation without any progress. The portal has not served as an effective support mechanism, and responsibilities are constantly shifted, leading to delays and frustration. I am requesting direct contact from someone authorized to provide a clear response and clarification on accessing competent technical support.
This is the worst professional body I have ever encountered. There is no care or consideration for students. My test center experienced significant system issues, and I ended up stuck in the exam room for 11 hours. I arrived at 8:30 AM and finally left at 7:30 PM. When I contacted customer service, they were unhelpful and refused to acknowledge their fault in the system issues, leaving students in limbo for hours. I strongly advise pursuing qualifications with a different organization instead of this one.
I appreciate being qualified, but I am frustrated with the exorbitant annual subscription fees I must pay to continue working. In return, I receive very limited resources for continuing professional development. The subscription fees increase every year, far exceeding the rate of inflation.
Students can no longer book remote exams as the organization shifts back to in-person testing. When students were accustomed to in-person exams, they limited the centers, and now that we are used to remote exams, they are reverting to in-person testing to benefit local centers and colleges. They clearly do not prioritize the needs of students, especially those working full time. It seems to be more about profit than education.
I want to address the final thoughts on the new syllabus, which claims to be with us every step of the way. I see this organization as a source of psychological distress, employing psychological methods in their educational process. They do not disclose the names of the professors involved, which is shameful. Under international conventions against torture, such practices are prohibited in signatory countries. Be cautious of their claims about monitoring your progress.
The customer service and communication approach is terrible. I have been a member for years, yet it has taken over three months to receive a response regarding my registration path for practice and obtaining signing rights. Since July, I have had no reply through their portal. I even filed a complaint via email, but still nothing. It feels like they are just collecting subscription fees without providing any real benefits.
I am just one exam short of completing my requirements. I have been taking remote exams due to the lack of centers in my country. On the day of my exam, there were server issues, preventing me from logging in. This affected many others as well. They offered to reschedule the exam, but after rebooking twice, my appointment keeps disappearing. I've contacted customer service numerous times; while they are friendly and helpful, their system seems to fail. I only have two sittings left before my exam expiry, and I am anxious to take this exam.
What kind of global organization in 2025 does not support MAC systems? I attempted to take my exam, and after a successful system test on my MAC, the invigilator informed me that the exam is not compatible with MAC. They suggested using another computer, which is unrealistic given the current cost of living crisis, as many may only have access to one device. Traveling to an exam center isn't feasible for me, which is why remote exams were appealing. Since I only have a MAC, my options are severely limited unless I buy a new laptop.
