The experience was incredibly professional and reassuring. After going to another clinic offering LASIK which tried to 'hard sell' me the procedure it was a welcome change to be talked through the procedure with no pressure to sign up.The whole team were very kind and welcoming, and I'm happy to say I've practically forgotten that I used to even wear glasses!Overall a great clinic with tremendous staff operating in an extremely professional manner.5/5
My family and I have been with William Ayliffe for most of our lives now and he recommended us to use this surgery for laser eye surgery to remove the need for glasses. I was -5.5 in both eyes and under the careful guidance of William and Vic who was my point of contact at the clinic I attended a couple of meeting before and several after the laser eye surgery. They filled me with confidence at every step of the procedure and it’s now been almost a year since the surgery, and I’ve got better than 20:20 vision in both eyes and don’t experience any adverse conditions. My brother also had the same thing done as me at the same time and he’s also very happy with the result (also 20:20 vision). I can recommend them whole heartily. Thank you guys!
Keratoconus corneal cross linking with laser on both eyes. Life changing!After being monitored on the NHS for several years with no mention of possible surgery, I was put on a waiting list for an urgent operation in June 2021. I was told I needed cross linking within 12 weeks - despite lots of chasing up I actually got a call 12 months later. I would have needed a corneal transplant if I had waited that long as the keratoconus had quickly advanced.After 6 months of waiting we decided to go private and found Accuvision by luck online. The clinic was an hour away and it was nerve racking having to trust a company when you have no idea what you are looking for! But we cannot thank them enough. My vision now in my left eye is better without glasses than it used to be with!Having the laser surgery with the cross linking is not something offered everywhere but it is without a doubt the best decision I made.The first operation went so well that when the team noticed the early onset of keratoconus in my second eye I also had surgery on that eye too.A year after operation 1, I have just been for a check up, my vision is beyond what I thought was possible and the changes in my eyes are incredible!Quick and excellent service with fantastic aftercare! A huge thanks to the team, especially to Natalia for my regular appointments and on the phone support.
My entire experience at AccuVision has been amazing. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, particularly my optometrist Vik who took care of me from my initial consultation and all following appointments. His health checks on my eyes are thorough and I've received eye care solutions for before and after surgery, which are greatly helping my dry eyes. The lasik surgery itself was very fast and painless, and the surgeons and nurses are incredibly reassuring, especially as I was quite afraid. They made sure to explain each step as they were completing the procedure, while keeping me calm. And the results are life-changing. My eyes recovered a lot quicker than I anticipated, and I feel well taken care of by the team. I would definitely recommend AccuVision to anyone wanting to get laser eye surgery.
I first started looking at laser eye surgery a few years ago. I then went somewhere for a consult in August and was told I wasn’t suitable. Due to having a high prescription of +8/+8.50, I thought I would never be able to live without glasses. Then I found AccuVision, I enquired and sent through scans that I had from before and when I had my consult, they couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. My initial consult I was told that I could probably go down to a +2/+3 and would just need reading glasses which compared to my original prescription was life changing enough. A week on from my surgery though, and I have perfect vision!! I have never know a life without glasses and I honestly cannot thank the team at Fulham enough for the experience. My life has changed forever and I’ll be forever grateful.
I was recommended Accuvision through a friend and was not let down. I initially had a eligibility consultation at another company but once I did the consulation at Accuvision I could immediately tell they were more competent in their craft and provided a warmer customer experience. I was prepared and guided very well by the staff on procedure day and during the follow ups. It is great value for money and would highly recommend!
I was shortsighted before and struggled wearing glasses all the time and was not a fan of contacts. I had been thinking of laser eye surgery for a while but I was scared and nervous about the surgery. A friend recommended Accuvision and from the first consultation via WhatsApp I straight away had a good feeling, Vic and the rest of the staff were very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Being an overthinker and analysing every detail I asked a lot of question but the optometrist was very understanding, knowledgeable and explained everything. The face to face consultation was explained well and I was given the option to come back with a friend if I was still unsure or had any further queries. My best option was to go for mono vision and I opted to try contacts before going ahead with surgery. The staff were patient and they made me feel at ease until I was ready to make a decision.Scheduling my surgery was very easy and the actual procedure was not at all painful. Just me being nervous and overthinking but the staff were amazing putting me at ease. Post operation care was great and I was able to see first thing in the morning without any glasses which was life changing. It’s been now 7 months since I had surgery.I highly recommend Accuvision it’s been a great experience and I’m extremely happy with the outcome.
Consultation to perfect eyesight in 4 weeks. Great staff and service from the Wetherby team. Highly recommend if you want to ditch those spec’s. Procedure is a little uncomfortable but not painful and it’s over in just a few minutes which is well worth it for the sake of years of vision freedom
I had LASIK surgery at the Wetherby branch at the beginning of August 2022. From the very first 'are you suitable' eye check right through to post surgery check-ups the staff have been absolutely brilliant. Just the right blend of friendliness and professionalism. While all of the staff have been lovely, special thanks to Natalia, JP and Mr Matthew. I didn't actually *want* laser eye surgery, but had to have it if I wanted to keep my job (my safety critical role has a minimum standard for UNAIDED vision), so I spent a long time researching different providers, looking at feedback, results, prices and more. Accuvision stood out to me, and after my first assessment, seeing the super clean clinic, and meeting the staff, it wasn't a difficult choice. I would honestly reccomend to anyone :) My vision is now better than 20/20, and the surgery and recovery was genuinely pain free (I know that varies from person to person). I must admit I dont miss looking around for glasses / lenses in a morning, or having to plan to have them going away / for holidays etc.
My wife did their most advanced non invasive laser eye surgery there around 2021. Staff was exceptional and the results even better! she went from wearing glasses of -10 to 0!!!! and its been 2 years and everything is the same. Exceptional results so i cant complain.Even though everything is better than expected, these types of procedures come with lifetime considerations. She is sensitive to light and has to wear sunglasses when its very sunny but says she would do it again 10 out of 10 times, so this is a little tip for anyone thinking about doing it.To conclude, based on my experience, if I had to do anything mildly important with eyes, these are the guys I would go to again and again.
