Excellent customer care right from the start - from the friendly admin staff who are very helpful and easy to get hold of over the phone, to the clinicians who assessed me and to the surgeon and nurse who were extermely kind and made me feel at ease. The only thing that could be improved is that not all staff were wearing a face mask (I had my surgery during the Covid 19 pandemic) which made me feel a little uncomfortable at times. Apart from that, excellent and I'd recommend anyone to have it done here.
I had laser eye surgery with Accuvision two weeks ago - and have since been thoroughly enjoying life without glasses. The whole experience was faultless. I had an initial (free-of-charge) suitability check with another, very well-established, laser-eye surgery provider. The price quoted was very expensive, much more than I had been expecting due to their extensive advertising and I felt strongly pressured by them to accept the quote. About to give up on the idea, and resign myself to life with glasses, I saw some positive reviews for Accuvision so decided to give it one more go. I had the first consultation and was immediately impressed by the friendly and professional service. I was glad to pay for this first examination because unlike the free one with the other company, it meant I felt no pressure to go ahead with the surgery. At no point did I feel any pressure from the Accuvision team. I was delighted to find that the cost was very reasonable - less than I had thought it would cost. The surgery itself was, for me at least, painless and quick and I was back to work a day later. I was never rushed and the Accuvision team took time to answer all my questions, putting me at ease. Everyone was equally attentive at the post-surgery follow-up sessions - by which point all the staff knew my name and were very welcoming. All in all, it was a superb and very personal experience, where I was guided professionally and caringly through every stage of the process. I couldn't recommend them more highly!!! I only regret not doing the operation sooner.
Accuvision Wetherby My husband and I had our laser eye surgery at the Wetherby branch of Accuvision and received amazingly wonderful service from all the team but especially Natalya, who guided us through the whole process from start to finish. At no time did we feel like we were just customers and we really feel like we have made a friend. Superbly professional but great to get on with, she has put us at ease throughout. The actual operation was swift and well conducted and we have both gone from needing glasses pretty much all the time to having great vision.My eyes needed special treatment so I see long distance in one eye and short in the other, so don't be put off if you have difficult prescriptions - you will find you can receive the successful treatment to enable you to be spectacle free. Today we had our final appointment, one year after our surgery, so it has all been conducted under strict COVID measures and we both felt very safe at all times. Thoroughly reccommend this business.
The entire staff is incredibly patient, helpful and polite. This is my second day after the operation, and I can happily say that I feel fantastic. The operation itself was very quick (probably no more than 10 minutes) and completely painless, and the nurse and doctors were extremely reassuring and attentive. Everyone has been great. I could not recommend this more.
Had the best experience with Natalia and the team. The service was impeccable and Natalia was incredibly thorough and explained everything that was going to happen. The surgery itself took only a few minutes and the surgeons were great at allaying any concerns or fears! Definitely recommend the team at Wetherby!
I have just had my final check and all is still absolutely brilliant. I had the blended vision treatment in Sept 2019 and from start to finish have had an excellent experience. Natalia answered all my initial questions (fears!) with comforting knowledge and then completed all the check-ups to ensure continuity.It took a while (3-4 months) for my eyes to get used to moving from outside light to inside but now it is not an issue. In the interest of complete transparency the only tiny negative is night driving on tight country lanes. I mentioned this to Natalia and she advised me to get some glasses which she prescribed. This has sorted that problem, but having said that I think I have only worn them 2 or 3 times in the last 21 months!All in all I highly recommend this process and AccuVision, and am extremely grateful to Natalia for her care; I will miss our fun conversations.
From start to finish, my experience with Accuvision at Parsons Green, London, has been incredible. They never once hounded me with sales calls like Optical Express did. I had my online Zoom appointment with Vik who was thorough with all the information and very friendly. I am an extremely nervous patient so for me, being in the right hands of nice and caring people was the most important part. I went to my consultation & eye testing with Vik a few weeks later, where I fainted, and Vik took such good care of me. I booked in to do my Lasik surgery two weeks later (so fast!) and I was beyond nervous. The entire team took incredible care of me. They all knew about how nervous I was, so they all took this into consideration and never once treated me just like another ordinary patient. They had a nurse in the operating room to hold my hand and they got me to count down from 50 when they were doing each eye. This helped me to relax and take my mind off it. The surgery was done in under 2 minutes each eye- absolutely incredible that it was done so quickly. I never felt a thing, as of course I had the anaesthetic drops and it wasn’t too uncomfortable either, just a little pressure. They all congratulated me afterwards which made me feel really proud of myself to face such a great fear. The next day I went to my follow up appointment and Vik took my contacts out and my vision was 20/20- less than 24 hours later, can you believe that?! It’s now 48 hours later and it feels like my vision is even better than it was yesterday.I will be going back for many follow up appointments as well. They ask you to come back a week later, then one month after, three months after, six months after and then a year. I could not have asked a better clinic to help me go through this scary process. I am over the moon with the entire process and the results. This was the best money I ever spent. I could not be happier! Thank you so much to the Accuvision team for changing my life.
I’ve just recently had my eyes lasered by Accuvision and I am more than grateful with what they have done for me not just on the day of my surgery but what they’ve done for me for life! My prescription was almost +9 and they’ve managed to get me down to a +2 and it will only get better as my eyes heal! So thankyou Accuvision for this life changing experience!!
