I had an excellent experience at AccuVision in Parsons Green. From the moment I walked in, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive. My assessment with Vik was thorough and professional, and he made sure to explain everything clearly, making me feel completely comfortable throughout the process. The team genuinely went above and beyond to ensure I had a positive experience, and I left feeling confident in my eye care. Highly recommend this store for its top-notch service and friendly, knowledgeable staff!
My experience was fantastic from the initial phone call to enquire about the procedure all the way through to the surgery and aftercare. The whole team (admin team, optometrists and surgery team) were amazing and everything was made super simple with great communication and instructions. The surgery itself went seamlessly with the team providing comfort and assurance all the way through which calmed any nerves I had (my fears were unfounded and the surgery itself was painless)!I would recommend accuvision to any of my friends or family who were looking to have similar procedures.
Truly Life-Changing: From -15 Astigmatism to 20/20 VisionFor years, I struggled with extremely high astigmatism—a prescription of minus 15. The call centre is really reluctant to allow you to speak with the clinic directly, including when you are lost and are walking around in the blazing sun for long periods trying to find the clinic after a long journey and they're not good at giving directions, send you the wrong way and only until you say you're going to leave it and go home do they help you. The main contact number demands a deposit of money without sending an invoice and inundates you with calls and emails, whilst seemingly refusing to provide an invoice prior to payment. The contact number is very inpatient, sarcastic and rude and doesn't give you a moment to think, they're only bothered about money and not actually about the customers and what questions they may have and needing help to get to the clinic. This experience has put me off going with them and they have actually made themselves look like a scam from how poor the customer service is and behaviours when asking for money.
From start to finish I had the most amazing experience at Accuvision for my lasik surgery back in July. From doctors to the rest of the staff, they were kind, professional and thorough in their assessments and explanations. When a last minute scheduling issue came up for my surgery they were able to accommodate my agenda and still perform the surgery within the following week. I'm very grateful with everyone who made my treatment such a huge success - they continue to schedule follow ups and check ins to assess my progress over time and this has made me feel reassured and supported. They contacted me to say that they had an offer on where they would waive the usual £150 consultation fee. So my husband and I travelled to Birmingham for the assessment to see if I would be suitable (I have a very strong prescription). The optometrist who offered the tests wasn’t able to get a few of them to work. She also recommended I have some sort of structural surgery too at an additional £3000 cost. The welcome email said to expect to be there for an hour but with the delays in her being able to use the tests we were there closer to two hours. Met with the surgeon who recommended I try a -3 contact lens as that’s likely what they could achieve. They offered to get them to me for £30 but I said “thank you but I will buy them myself as I could get them cheaper”. I asked several times about the cost of the surgery and the female optometrist said around £7,000 with the structural recommendation but the surgeon said not to bother with that and said around £4,000. The female optometrist said she could call me the next day with the figure. No one called. So the next week I emailed in asking for a price. No reply. Emailed twice more, no reply. I posted a google review about my wasted trip and their lack of response. Received a really horrible email back from them stating I had refused to try the -3 lenses and so they didn’t see the point in quoting me for surgery. Ironically, very short sighted of them, had that even been what happened. We drove two hours to the appointment and it was an absolute waste of time. The customer service is non existent. No effort to repair their failings or even offer a quote. Really disappointing. Would not recommend.
Thank you so much to the team at Solihull. It was an extremely personal 5* service, everyone knew my name upon arrival, and I felt very comfortable. Any questions I had were answered in detail and I didn’t feel rushed to make any decisions at all. My eyes were just under a -8.00 prescription and now my vision is even clearer than when I wore glasses and contact lenses. I’ve worn glasses since I was 7 years old, so it’s absolutely life changing. The procedure was fast and painless, with very little waiting around. So grateful to everyone involved in getting my eyes back to 20/20. Thank you! ⭐️
