Visited the location in Matthews NC at The Galleria Aug 13, 2024. Despite the bad reviews, I figured well 'give em' a shot' they can't be that bad all of the time'. Well that was MY BAD! They are worse! I have not heard nor can I reach anyone EVER for my glasses. However, to be fair, let me qualify that the optometrist, the doctor, was very thorough. The service though...! I was told my glasses would be available in about 2 weeks. I live around the corner, often walking over on my walks at least 3X/wk. Every time I call or ask, the glasses vendor right next to them ( a separate group that is very nice ), I get a different set of hours, no one is available when the hours are posted, nothing. Mind you, payment for the exam and glasses was submitted within a week of my visit. I have had no response to my calls nor visits. Now I hear they will be closing this location next week, 11/12/2024 for good. There is no justification for this, and so many other reviews to have this issue. This is sub-par service to say the least.
Vik and the team were amazing. Vik went above and beyond and definitely made me feel more at ease with the procedure. The surgeon reassured me and explained what to expect throughout the surgery, this helped me feel alot more comfortable. After care was brilliant, thorough check ups from start to finish.It shows how much they truly care about there patients. I did shop around before booking Accuvison and didn't feel pressure booking the surgery like I did else where.I can't thank them all enough, I'm so grateful that I no longer have to wear glasses and have 20/20 vision ☺️😊 I'm ready to move to Australia and put on a pair of sunglasses without wearing contacts. Very happy thank you!!!
Accuvision London were so helpful and supportive. I had been assessed at another London clinic and felt rushed and pressured to make a decision. I visited Accuvision on the advice of a friend and the service could not have been more different. I felt supported to make an informed decision at my own pace and was not pressured at any point.On the day of surgery the team was fantastic - they were kind and put myself and my partner at ease. The aftercare has also been great and I am really pleased with the results of my surgery.
Today I want to share with you about the most wonderful thing that happened in my life.After 8 years of wearing glasses every day, I can even say that I was dependent on them, I couldn't even go to a swimming pool without them, I met this wonderful team ready to change my life. The whole process took very little time, they are also active, answering any question related to the surgery and supporting me.After the consultation I had, I found out that I am eligible for laser surgery, more precisely for myopia. When I was told that it takes around 15 minutes, and that's because we need to prepare in advance, i.e. cleaning and anesthesia with drops, I wouldn't have believed it until I saw it with my own eyes :)You don't feel anything at all, the doctors are so nice, they give you total confidence and peace where you can't be scared by anything.When I was told that from that moment on I wouldn't wear glasses anymore, I didn't believe it! Until I left the surgery room without glasses and since then 3 beautiful months have passed in which I can enjoy my sight without glasses. An easy recovery where you don't even mention that you had a surgical intervention, I never had any problems, they offered me the drops included in the surgery money including the consultations. A very good and accessible price if you want to enjoy the summer with some sunglasses or to go to a swimming pool and even be much more relaxed, because it is a discomfort. I can only say this, I would always choose them for their dedication to their clients and of course because they changed my life.
I consulted several doctors both abroad and in the UK. Four different doctors told me I needed to make peace with my situation – that I wouldn't see any better and would need stronger glasses as I aged. One prestigious clinic in London even suggested lens replacement surgery. I couldn't accept this and started searching for solutions.That's when I found Accuvision online and, based on their stellar reviews, decided to go for a consultation. I thought, "This is my last chance; I have nothing to lose." Upon my initial visit, I was greeted warmly by the staff, who made me feel comfortable and at ease. The thorough examination and detailed explanations provided by the optometrists helped me understand my condition, Shalona Pillay-the kindest person, who told me there was hope and that they could help me. I couldn't believe it and started crying right there in the clinic. They patiently answered all my questions and addressed any concerns I had about the procedure. My journey began exactly one year ago with a prescription of +4.25 in my right eye and +4.50 in my left eye, along with amblyopia in the left eye. On the 7th of July 2023, I had the surgery (Lasik)with Dr. Panagiotis Kalognomas, who is undoubtedly the best doctor on the planet. The day of the surgery was approached with a blend of professionalism and empathy. The procedure itself was quick, thanks to their expertise and advanced technology. I was amazed at how seamless the entire process was.Post-surgery care was equally impressive. The team provided clear instructions and were available for any follow-up questions or concerns. My recovery was smooth, and I noticed significant improvement in my vision almost immediately.Throughout my visits, I also made friends with the receptionist, Mery, whose warmth and friendliness made each visit enjoyable. I am deeply grateful to future doctor Johann Panthakey and all the staff at Accuvision for their support and kindness throughout my journey. Special gratitude goes to the beautiful being who is the owner of the clinic Mr Daryus, whom I met today – your vision and dedication have truly transformed my life.The team lived up to my expectations and beyond. They all truly care about patients and love what they do.The procedure corrected all my long-sightedness, and I am now independent of glasses for both reading and distance vision. Even my lazy eye, which had always been a significant issue, has improved remarkably. It's incredible to see the progress – you can hardly tell it was ever there. The transformation has been nothing short of miraculous. I can see clearly without glasses for the first time in my life, and it has boosted my confidence tremendously.I have never experienced such a loving environment; they hold space for you, making you feel genuinely cared for and supported throughout the entire process. The professionalism, care, and advanced technology at Accuvision are unparalleled. I enthusiastically recommend their services to anyone considering eye surgery.I waited a year to write this review today as it marks my last check post-surgery.
