As a professional musician, I had high hopes for ACE Studio, but the optimization is severely lacking. If you're attempting anything beyond a brief demo, be ready for long waits. After creating a verse and a pre-chorus, the software freezes for 10 minutes each time I adjust a MIDI note or modify lyrics. It appears the developers don't grasp that professionals require immediate playback to hear their edits. The engine fails to efficiently freeze or cache data, resulting in a frustrating workflow. I found myself spending more time watching a loading bar than actually making music. The 7-day trial period is insufficient to uncover these problems; they only arise when you're deep into a real session. I am now looking to obtain a refund as the product does not meet my needs.
The performance is quite poor when compared to some lesser-known options. It also fails to clearly communicate that the monthly subscription is charged annually, making it impossible to cancel once you realize it doesn't suit your needs.

My machine runs in Turbo mode, which has significantly reduced rendering delays. I do hope for instant rendering in the future, but that’s a broader issue. Regarding the editor, while I’m not fond of any editor, this one is as good as, if not better than, others I've tried. Overall, the marketing might be a bit too optimistic, yet after trying various vocal synths, this one stands out.
