Unite was send for repair with cutting issue -Came back not printing "After further review, Acme Revival has determined that this Additional Repair Guarantee Claim does not fall within the scope of coverage." $180 later I can’t overstate how disappointed I am with the service. The unit worked until the cutting issue appeared, and after the “repair,” it stopped functioning entirely.

Disappointing Repair Experience

I had a 30-year-old telescope that suffered a battery leak in the battery compartment. After the company went bankrupt, I sought someone who could repair the unit. A search led me to a service that claimed to specialize in my model. I opened a ticket and received a quote of $324 for the repair, which I accepted. Given the size and weight of the unit, I also incurred $50 in shipping fees to send it to their technician. To my surprise, the technician performed a basic cleaning of the battery compartment, noted that he detected current with a voltmeter, but did not ensure the unit actually powered on or that the repair was effective. The scope was then sent back to me. Upon receiving the unit, I discovered that aside from the cleaning, it still did not power on. When I reached out to their support team, they claimed that since I mentioned the batteries leaked and the unit wouldn’t power on, they had fulfilled the ticket's requirements, asserting I hadn't specified what I expected when it was powered on. I have now spent a month requesting either a partial refund for the incomplete work or a pre-paid shipping label to return the unit for the promised repairs. All my emails have gone unanswered. I strongly advise against using this service. They seem to be scammers.

Returned in Original Condition

I had a 30-year-old telescope with a battery leak. After searching for a repair service, I found one that quoted me $324, which I accepted. I also paid $50 in shipping. To my shock, the technician only did a basic cleaning and didn’t ensure the device powered on. When it was returned, it still didn’t work. Their support claimed they met the requirements based on my ticket description, which was misleading. I've spent a month requesting a partial refund or a return label, but my emails have been ignored. I advise steering clear of this service; they seem to be scammers.

Avoid Sending Items: Scam Alert

Avoid sending anything to this service; it’s a scam. I sent in a pair of glasses for repair, and after being told they couldn’t fix them, I was charged to have them returned. I never saw them again.

Blatant Fraud

This so-called service is a complete scam committing blatant fraud. They no longer charge storage fees but have found other deceptive methods. After sending in my product, they provided an exorbitant estimate. It took months to get any feedback, contradicting their website's claim of a two-week turnaround. Eventually, they declared my device unfixable. I had to request its return, and only then could I ask for a refund, which I’ve yet to receive after six months. They intentionally overcharge for labor and parts, clearly stealing from customers. I don’t understand how this service remains operational.

Zero Stars If Possible

If I could give zero stars, I would! This service is full of scammers. I sent in two cameras for repair, following their instructions. They initially claimed they never received one, but I had proof of delivery. After much back and forth, I opted for their buyout offer in October, but as of December 28th, I’ve received nothing. They even emailed saying they were still waiting on my device! I provided evidence of their acknowledgment and asked where my buyout payment was. They are thieves. Stay away from them.

Incompetent and Dishonest Service

This service is utterly incompetent and a group of thieves. Do not send them anything; they will take your money without performing any repairs and will not issue a refund for work not done. They took over a thousand dollars from me and refused to refund anything when they claimed they couldn't fix it. They deserve to be sued.

A Total Scam!

This service is a complete scam! I sent in my drone with a flight control issue. Months later, they charged me $486 and returned it still broken. They promised to fix it, so I sent it back. After threatening legal action, they claimed it was unrepairable and said I wouldn't receive a refund. I finally got the drone back, but it's completely non-functional now. I've never encountered such dishonesty!
