Review Time
I recently encountered an issue with the service after previously placing successful orders in September and October for tools. My latest order in early December included several items, notably a heated jacket I intended as a Christmas gift for myself. Unfortunately, the jacket I received after Christmas didn’t work; it turned off after just a few minutes. I contacted the service for assistance and was offered a few options: return it for a replacement, get a refund, or keep it for a small discount. I opted for the refund but had already discarded my old jacket. To make matters worse, two other items from my order were delayed, with one going on back order. This entire situation has left me frustrated, especially since I had previously enjoyed shopping with them. It's disappointing, considering they had good deals before this experience.
They use high-speed automated logistics to create shipping labels almost instantly, which allows them toclaim the order is "in process" and uncancelable-even if the box sits in their warehouse for DAYS.I ordered something on a holiday, was given ZERO opportunity to cancel, and its magicly shipped the next day within an hour of opening? Seems fishy. They won't cancel the order and are making me PAY for return shipping. They label lock so they can refuse to cancel your order.
I bought two items and after payment, I saw a Google price notification that said it was lower somewhere else. So I contacted them like 2 minutes after I ordered. They did not respond and I reached out again. They said they don't match Amazon because it is a 3rd party seller. I said OK I will refuse the package. They said they will charge me shipping even though it was free shipping. I will contact my credit card company. Customer service sucks, like big time attitude. Just match the price already. I will never do business with these clowns, and neither should you.
I just recently had a problem with Acme I’ve placed other orders back in September and again in October for Milwaukee tools from Acme and the orders went great I got the product and no issues. We then come to an order that I placed in the first half of December for several items one of them was a Milwaukee heated hooded jacket as a Christmas present to myself , the jacket I had was falling apart as soon as I got my new one I thankfully trashed my current one then I had several other items another item was a screw driver type pick set , and then there was a packout regular screw driver and prybar set. I received my jacket actually the day after Christmas and some of the other stuff in my order all except the screw driver pick set and the screwdriver prybar set I just had to wait on that a few more days. We had a really warm Christmas here where I live so I hadn’t used my jacket yet and when I opened the package and took it out and put the battery in and turned it on with a fully charged battery it died after like 5 minutes I took that battery off and put another battery on and nothing it no longer worked I could occasionally get it to come on for a minute or so then right back off so I contacted Acme and she gave me a couple of solutions we could do I could send this one back and they could get me another one but it was going to be a good while it is on back order keep in mind I already trashed my original jacket for this wonderful jacket which the jacket was fine just the heated part didn’t work, my next option was to just send it back and they would give me a refund , and my third and final option was to keep the jacket and they would give me a discount which I would prefer have a working heated jacket that’s why I ordered it but if it was going to be worth it I’d just keep it then I got their offer which the customer service person said I wouldn’t like is to just give me $20 back on the purchase price, so now I am without coat because I sent it back thanks for that by the way Acme, then keep in mind I had two more items that was still to be delivered the first the pick set I got several days late the second get this conveniently went on to the back order list imagine that, so it would take some kind miracle to get me to do business with them again which is a shame because they had some good deals and until this was always very good company. Sorry so long of a review I’m just venting.
I ordered a Christmas gift (tools) for a family member. I made the order on December 3rd. When I placed the order the delivery date was December 18th. I called today to confirm delivery with the order number and I was told the items were on backorder and the estimated delivery was mid January. This is a horrible situation for a Christmas gift. I ended up cancelling the order and got a full refund. I will now be scrambling to get the tools by Christmas - if I can. I will never do business with this company again. I am just sorry I didn't see the horrendous reviews the company has on all public review sites.
They sold me a product they said was in stock. After waiting a week for a tracking number for shipment, the product never shipped. When I went back to the website it said the product was (available to order). When I called they said the product would not ship for another two months. Liars!
My recent experience with ACME Tools has been nothing short of exasperating, and I feel compelled to warn prospective customers before they consider doing business with this company. From the outset, the level of customer service I encountered was profoundly disappointing. Representatives were consistently unhelpful, curt, and in several instances outright rude when asked the simplest questions about my order. At no point did I feel that my concerns were taken seriously or that anyone was genuinely interested in resolving the issues I raised.The company’s return policy only added to the frustration. Navigating it was a tedious exercise in obstruction, marked by unclear instructions, dismissive responses, and a general unwillingness to provide meaningful solutions. Rather than standing behind the products they sell, ACME Tools seemed more focused on avoiding responsibility and deflecting accountability, leaving customers to absorb the inconvenience.To make matters considerably worse, the delivery process was appallingly slow. I waited two full months for an item that was advertised with a much shorter fulfillment time. When the package finally arrived, the product was visibly damaged, rendering it unusable. After such a prolonged wait, receiving a compromised item was both infuriating and unacceptable.In my view, ACME Tools has demonstrated a troubling disregard for customer satisfaction at every stage—from communication to shipping to after-purchase support. I would strongly advise others to think carefully before purchasing from this company and to consider alternative retailers who value professionalism, responsiveness, and basic respect for their customers.
