Review Time
At first I thought that the removal men did a great job, but that was until I started sorting my boxes out. Despite the fact that the small bedroom was half the size of the other two bedrooms I found some items in one of the big bedrooms clearly labelled small bedroom. I even found some things in the small bedroom labelled 'shed'! This was particularly troublesome as I am 83 and have a crumbling spine.
On the plus side the guys were friendly and placed furniture where I wanted it. They even moved furniture when my daughter inadvertently asked them to put a chest of drawers in the wrong place. They used mats everywhere and had covers for things. Only 2 of my ornaments (of about 50) got broken during the move but as my daughter & I packed them ourselves the movers could not be held responsible and I accepted this in the agreement when booking.

From the first call to Actual Removal, speaking with Jo through to moving my 78 year old mum out of her house and storing her belongings until she moves into her new home in six months, the experience was fantastic. Jo and team were extremely helpful and really went out of their way to accommodate the move date. The two Steve’s who came the day before the move a packed my mums belongings were brilliant really polite, helpful, fun and very considerate to my mum’s needs. On moving day the team arrived exactly when they said they would, again helpful, polite and very carful of belongings and the property it’s self, they worked extremely hard and had the house emptied by midday, I would absolutely recommend Actual, great firm great people 👍
Absolutely fantastic service - bookings team were so kind, helpful and empathetic in what was a particularly busy and stressful time due to the stamp duty deadline - exactly the attitude you'd wish for. The service was fantastic, they packed everything so well, they worked really hard to load everything and they unpacked in a logical and helpful way. The remover guys were very friendly and cheerful and kept us going through what was a very exhausting and gruelling day for us, and especially my hubby who had not moved house for 67 years!
